Really good observation. I think people are focusing on Kova's weakness in body and lack of KOs, but forgetting how much experience he has.

Kovalev only needs a very simple gameplan to make it very difficult for Canelo to win

the gameplan they used on Hopkins was basic, but it worked a treat... because it played to Kovalev's strengths and meant that Hopkins needed to take risks

Canelo needs to be really well-prepared, and his corner will need to be right on point
