Even when he came out of jail he was the bench mark, as Don King once stated 'His light was still shining, it was eventually put out by Lennox Lewis'. There has been no heavyweight with or without a BELT who was still able to reign in a division 'Floyd Mayweather is the only fighter in recent memory who had reached that status i.e he no longer needed a belt to be considered one of the best. Tyson Fury thinks he is at that level, but is getting shown up by his recent performances etc

This right here. Most thought that Holyfield was done.

In an interview after the fight Holyfield stated that Mike Tyson was indeed a hard puncher and he had to take minute by minute and round by round. He also added that he was praying and his faith got him through the fight.

            HUGE win !

but not as convinced about the legitimacy of those butts as you are
Why? Point me to one round where it's obvious Evan was trying to butt Tyson in this fight.

Second fight he was definitely throwing some head around. Not the first, not from what I can see.

Great fight, Holyfield got the W but it's been tarnished because of the steroids controversy but casuals don't seem to mind.

he punches around/behind his target, and follows through with his head

Not in this fight, bro. I don't know what you're seeing.

Look at the very first sequence. Holyfield throws but Tyson is low and leading with his head. That same pattern is throughout the fight. At no point was he trying to do what you're describing. When it DID happen, it's because Tyson is low and ramming forward with his head.
