99% of people agree that GGG easily won that first fight, the 2nd fight was closer but most people still gave GGG the edge. So Canelo dont wanna chance it with a 3rd fight, but the best GGG can do now is win the IBF in his upcoming fight, beat Andrade for the WBO and beat Charlo for the WBC.....he will then have 3 titles, people would be screaming for a 3rd fight that Canelo wont be able to say no. Of course, this is in an ideal world, we know these fights ain't gonna happen.

Yeah its hilarious how hypocritical some people are on here. I honestly dont understand how people are taking delight in Canelo saying he will never fight GGG again, I dont understand why someone would be happy as a boxing fan in missing out on a competitive and interesting fight.

Canelo the PED cheat can do no wrong when its a scenario involving GGG. lets hope Kovalev sparks out this ginger cheat (though I feel its highly unlikely at this stage of Kovalev's career).

it's not just fans of ggg who don't think a clear winner has been established, it's pretty much every unbiased boxing fan that isn't a Canelo nut hugger. He's pretty much coming off as a diva and pretending as if he's proven something vs ggg when all that he's proven is what we already knew, he will get the befit of the doubt in close fights more often than not.

Not if he uses clenbuterol again. Canelo has been cutting weight his whole career to get a weight advantage through extreme rehydration. My guess is if he does go back to middleweight after the Kovalev fight, he will do so with the aid of certain chemicals.

Ehh idk man...GGG already got 2 Canelo paydays...and then from that parlayed it into $100 million more from DAZN...pay-wise the Canelo situation has worked out better for him than could have been expected really.

I also don't see how DAZN and Canelo can continue to work together unless Canelo-GGG happens, and they probably want it to happen at least twice more...based on the purses they are paying out, that is about the only fight that will actually make them money...I just can't really see the Canelo-DAZN marriage working without GGG-Canelo mixing it up, probably a couple more times.

Yeah it will be interesting I suppose...just pretty clear to me that DAZN signed Canelo and GGG, with the intention of using that fight between them to recoup a lot of money, and get a lot of attention to their app...I just imagine they are disappointed greatly with Canelo not wanting to face GGG at this point.

AJ's earning power has diminished, I agree...and Wilder seems beholden to his current group, though to be fair I don't think he brings in any real money, not more than even someone like GGG.

But as you alluded to, the only guy who really brings in money is Canelo, so he will have some rope...I just would think with all that money they are paying him, and with their pretty clear desire to have him fight GGG, I can't imagine them feeding Canelo $30 per fight...he probably only deserves that amount for 1 fight right now, and that is vs GGG.
