That's what Barrera and morales wanted, what pac and Marquez wanted, what holyfield and bowe wanted, Gatti and ward, Vasquez and Marquez...... Canelo doesn't. He's content with a controversial win.
Huge difference is...Pac, Barrera, Morales, and Marquez did just fight nobodies while waiting to fight their rivalries.

I wouldn't be quick to say that. Canelo is a body specialist and Kovalev has a suspect mid-section.

Canelo would take some relative damage this fight but I expect him to shine and stop Kovalev before 10.

        I like both boxers.

since their last fight Canelo has fought fielding (a nobody) and Jacobs (someone ggg beat first). Ggg has fought rolls (a nobody) and is now fighting dervey (who Canelo actually wanted to fight just 2 months ago) for a belt. Now canelo is fighting a name in Kovalev but let's be real, he's 36, run down and is fighting on short rest. Oh and for the record, morales and Barrera and Marquez and pac all had multiple fights with nobodies in between their fights. Bottom line is, Canelo doesn't have a clear win vs ggg but he & his fans are pretending that he does. No matter where their legacies go from here, people will still remember that Canelo at 27 and 28 yrs old, couldnt prove superiority over a 35/36 yr old guy he and his fans said was basic & not that good.

For the golo haters and Saul, golo gave u the toughest fights of your career. A draw and a md win. Foh with your cowardice.
They conveniently leave out that he was on the gear for the first fight also LOLOLOLOL.

He wants none of GGG again. Kovalev is gonna beat the breaks off that ginger.

I have no idea if that is true... just saying

the testimony from 4x independent experts... a clean hair-follicle test... and a BETTER performance in the rematch when we know he was clean... makes your position very difficult to sell

again, no idea if Canelo intentionally cheated or not... he may have... just saying
Doesn't matter he failed the tests I can careless what experts think after the fact.

He lives in San Diego CA USA and KNOWS the mexico has contaminated meat. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU CHANCE IT? Unless he knew that he can make that excuse after the fact.

Occums Razors applies here. He got caught simple as that because he was being Cheap. He knows better now and uses top end designer PED's that are impossible to catch unless someone passes a sample to be tested ala how balco got busted.

              • Yes agreed with Canelo partially. The second fight Canelo was able to expose GGG. But what are the better fights than GGG for him.

If he plans to take on Charlo, Andrede, Saunders or callum smith then go for it. May be GGG forcing that VADA testing is not a motivating factor.

More research on the topic shows that you cant even tell if someone has used it or not with hair testing. Canelo fan boys just like to cherry pick what makes them sound good.

You know how many people were wrongly put away because of "hair analysis " back in the day when a trained expert compared hair follicle?

Canelo doped up and everyone knows it. Everyone is a cheater until they get caught.

That's the risk Canelo been talking about. GGG doesnt take risks with PEDS use like me lmfao

                  • No chit he’ll be going back down
But I doubt 160 , can see him remaining at 168 where he would most likely dominate the division
Unless , surprise surprise he agrees to challenge Bivol at the weight

Fugh GGG , make Bivol vs Canelo
                    That’ll rock everyone’s world

I’ve never been able to really notice the things that made Kovalev good. He has a stiff jab that he’s willing to use especially last fight. But nothing has ever really stood out for me. Maybe he’s just B+ ratings across the board? Commentators always say that he’s “Big” but I don’t see that in his physique. I can see Canelo take sum relative damage as u said, with his latest head movement, slips, counters, it will be hard to pile up enough on to stop him. Not to mention I dont see it as a real high output fight for either. Nelos work always looks nice too, where there’s not much pretty about Kovalev. Kovalev will need knockdowns at least I’m thinking to get a decision.
