Canelo will now take on every viable fight that he has in his way, and only turn to Golovkin when there's nothing else.

Kovalev is on the docket now, and Andrade, Jermall Charlo, and Saunders seem to be the short list for the next fight were he to win (depending on how the fight were to go, a rematch with Kovalev were he to lose isn't an impossibility). Mix in 'Zurdo' Ramirez and possibly a guy like Errol Spence Jr, and Golovkin is going to likely be stuck waiting for a while.

Let's keep this in perspective. Canelo can't fight every pretender at once. His contract calls for 9 more fights or so with DAZN fighting two or three times a year. This drama will play out over a 4 year period. Unlike Golovkin, he is fighting tough competition. Most of the so-called "Canelo Killers" will get their turn. In the meantime, some of them can at least fight each other -- Andrade vs Charlo for example.

Back to the drawing board. Let him age another 18 months fighting grinders like Derev and a middling fight with Murata, 3 more training camps and he should be really old.

DAZN still going to be there with $50M for that fight as long as GGG can stay unbeaten, because they didn't sign Golovkin for 100M to not see the Canelo fight happen.

Hes so old & ages so quickly must be why he went on a 9 mo sabbatical from vada & boxing,hmmm,thats only 6 mos less time than what gggroupies say canelo aged him by(canelo won wbc 1.yr 3 mos before signing to fight ggg.) So if anyone is guilty of aging GGG its ggg for wasting his career waiting for a payday vs a cashcow,thats why he made career crushing cans

Ehh idk man...GGG already got 2 Canelo paydays...and then from that parlayed it into $100 million more from DAZN...pay-wise the Canelo situation has worked out better for him than could have been expected really.

I also don't see how DAZN and Canelo can continue to work together unless Canelo-GGG happens, and they probably want it to happen at least twice more...based on the purses they are paying out, that is about the only fight that will actually make them money...I just can't really see the Canelo-DAZN marriage working without GGG-Canelo mixing it up, probably a couple more times.

DAZN always has the option of buying Canelo out of his contract if they are so unhappy. Maybe then Canelo can also get rid of Golden Boy and do his own promoting. It would make it much easier to make fights with non-DAZN fighters.

BBB side had his chances. Everyone said he would easily KO Canelo.
Didn’t happen. BBB side looks great KO’ing bums on house arrest. Average against P4P guys.
Don’t understand why BBB sides 12 groupies here want a third fight so bad. How do you really think that will end? Canelo is only getting better and had an easier time with BBB side the second time. Third fight ends with a Canelo decision and his groupies calling robbery.
