I agree, GGG had his chance, he was a ko artist he was scraping for a chance, he said anybody from 154 to 168 and that his dream was to unify 160. GGG is a fraud. He is and was a good fighter but he clearly just after that big money fight again. He had his damn chance no excuses he had two chances. I can't even and never have watched them fights through fully, totally overrated and no I'm not some scrub who only watches big fights or knockouts. I watch plenty of prospects go the distance, I enjoy a clash of styles I enjoy big fights I enjoy watching technical boxing and all sorts etc etc but I've put canelo ggg 1 on multiple times and it's just boring they both can take eachothers power and not many clean telling punches are landed they're far and few between from what I see anyway, GGG just jabbing, where was the savage come forward guy vs kell brook etc mexican style, well yeah he's not that guy when he's in with a quality operation like canelo. Hes tentative. Canelo has a limited career and is pursuing other challenges he can't spend his career fighting GGG, getting older. GGG isn't career defining for canelo but canelo is career defining for GGG. So obviously GGG will beg and chase that rematch but unless he makes some noise then I don't mind canelo skipping the third one. ALL THAT HYPE for 1&2 for what? For two nip and tuck fights with no knockdowns or excitement, no fulfilment of all the talk. Let canelo fight charlo and kovalev etc some exciting new challenges for him. Canelo must be the biggest star in boxing because he has irrational haters just like Floyd did, in denial haters. Canelo is a cool guy man and building a proper resume like legends of the past.

Well as long as he plans on fighting either andrade or Charlo who aren't leaning on 40, it's fine. But canelo is fooling himself into thinking that he's clarified anything in determining who was the better fighter between him and ggg. Just because 2 of 3 judges favored him by 1 round in the rematch doesn't establish dominace. Guess he doesn't have the same comptetative edge as guys like Barrera and morales who kept going at it in order to try and prove who was better.
