He’ll do it what his masters at DAZN tell him. They own him and they’ve got too much money in him and GGG for it not to happen in the next year. Not to mention if the bodies start ordering fights but I’m sure in that case he’d just vacate his titles.Comment

Canelo did not control the fight beginning to end, Go back and watch the 2nd half of the fight. For your info I had Canelo win fight 2 by 7-5 and for me Golovkin won 1st fight 8-4.How many times must you be told that the judges aren't tied to 1 state & the fight capital of the world selects the judges with proven track records(& even with the odd bad card, compare vegas judges to the weekly hearn fighters robberies by 11-1 or several other american fighters) how many times must you be told ggg LITERALLY got the literal most favorable judges,he even got to keep the judge had him winning 1st fight & he got to bring in the judge that gave him a gift win over jacobs by several rds, compare that to the judges who barely gave nelo a slight W in a fight he controlled beginning to end,but even the most pro ggg judges said he LOST.(& It was after 6 mos of daily tests by nelo so no bs peds excuses)
You sure about that? I'm pretty sure I heard at the time that Canelo delayed starting the testing until closer to the fight. Try to be objective, I know you struggle with that.
the most Jacobs could have hoped for was a draw in that fight. He made Golovkin miss a lot but he didn't bring the fight enough to Golovkin.Comment

My friend all I can really say is that I disagree with almost everything you wrote lol...I do agree that if Canelo faces Kov at 175 with no restrictions, it should be applauded...you could argue that it is still a favorable matchup for him and a case of possibly catching Kov at the right time, but I agree that Kov may well be the top LHW at the moment...until the other top 3 candidates really show me something, I would favor Kov...and he is certainly the biggest name/money fight at that weight. For a short time after nelo beat ggg his fans used the "he had to wait for 1.5 yrs to age benGGGamin Button Borat" or BBBG for short.
These stans like jajabboom were then saying Canelo would fight 11 rocky Fielding bums on DAZN. They claimed that hed never fight Jacobs or Kovalev & he schooled Jacobs & is now jumping up vs the only viable lhw thats ranked consensus #1-2. Now suddenly these exact same nuthugging clowns act as if Kovalev isn't on paper the most difficult, prestige to resume giving opponent.
These same stans have zero problems with ggg as usual fighting ultra bums then C levels for vacant gifted trinkets at mw.(yet again canelos fighting true champions much bigger in size at different weight classes & ggg yet again contradicted what he said while ducking Charlo/Andrade both.)
Suddenly his stance isn't "I don't want to fight for belts no mo" (aka
of Charlo/Andrade/Jacobs 2),he won't rematch Jacobs, won't fight the most credible opponents for most money & belts but will fight Jacobs vanquished foe for yet another vacant trinket.
Ggg is the biggest hypejob in Boxing history & it eats his fans to the core that the guy they hate keeps shutting their traps temporarily til they get the chapstick out again 4 BBBG..
To be honest I am not sure why you responded to me the way you did..maybe you got your responses mixed up? All I said was that DAZN will very likely want Canelo-GGG to mix it up once or twice more, as that is the biggest money fight in boxing...and I just also pointed out that GGG has actually done very well financially here at the tail end of his career.
For that I am happy for him...as your post seems to demonstrate, there are many out there who imo do not give him a fair shake on how great his career has been, so I am at least glad he is getting paid as he finishes up.
In any event I think you would have more success in debate here if you toned down the rhetoric and name-calling of fighters...and just tried to be a little more objective...just my 2 cents.Comment

being reasonable doesn't work with a 18 year old fan surrounded by posters on his bedroom wall.My friend all I can really say is that I disagree with almost everything you wrote lol...I do agree that if Canelo faces Kov at 175 with no restrictions, it should be applauded...you could argue that it is still a favorable matchup for him and a case of possibly catching Kov at the right time, but I agree that Kov may well be the top LHW at the moment...until the other top 3 candidates really show me something, I would favor Kov...and he is certainly the biggest name/money fight at that weight.

You're points are reasonable. It turns out that Golovkin was not as daring as he made out to be (154-168) but he is a very good MW. He's fought Jacobs, Canelo and now Derev' and only Andrade and Charlo are missing from his resume. I doubt he fights them but few champs wipe out all the contenders at a weight when the division is competitive.
Canelo is to be applauded for making the Kovalev fight although as you hint, opportunistic matchmaking can make legacies.Comment

I don't think all the money is in their bank accounts yet - that'd be crazily irresponsible.
They will insist that they fight, or hold back the money, just like they gave Canelo a list of 2 fighters that they "approved" for this fight, Kov being one of 'em.Comment

No need to see this fight again anyways. The first 2 fights were fun but I am more interested in seeing Canelo fight other people at this point. The same goes for Golovkin. I think there's other oppenents that would be interesting for him as well.Comment
