Like a 'little barrel' perhaps? Ginger kid's going to be giving up a little weight I think but honestly not all that much. Dude's actually built for SMW I think and will probably settle there when he hits his 30s and cutting weight becomes increasingly difficult, maybe bouncing up to LHW for the odd prestige fight.

This could be a big mistake by Canelo/GBP or a smart move where they catch Kovalev at the right time. At least Kovalev is not coming off beating bums or being beaten by bums. In his last two fights, he avenged his loss vs Eleider Alvarez and beat Yarde, who are a combined 42-0. So the fight can be advertised pretty successfully as far as what Kovalev brings other than size and power. Lots of Canelo critics will hate on this fight but I think it’s actually going to be very tough and Canelo is taking a big risk no matter how you slice it. I expect to see Canelo in danger in this fight and have to get a clutch win.
