Manny fought him right after he had lost to Floyd. Why would he do that? Can you imagine if it was Floyd who did that?

Canelo is the one that offered Floyd the catch weight. Google this or I can send you the link. Also, Canelo wasn’t coming off any loss like Oscar, Cotto or Margarito

As for JMM or Bradley beating Zab or Guerrero etc that’s just something we won’t agree on so i’ll Just leave it at that
We both can play this game. Manny KO'd Cotto and years later Floyd fought a tough fight vs a battered Cotto. Why would Floyd do that?

Oscar and Floyd was a very close fight and many had it going either way and a year later Manny destroyed him at a weight Oscar offered.

Manny's Welter reign is far more impressive than Floyd's. Floyd clearly ducked Thurman but if Floyd took on that fight and won, they'd be about even.

There is no game being played here. You just choose to ignore important elements that are game changers i.e catch weights and mental status.

At 145 Cotto was not the same. Roach was clear about that and I can quote him; “I gotta give my guy every possible advantage”.

Cotto fought Floyd at 154 for a unification. And Cotto was still relevant.
Can you say the same thing about Brandon Rios? If Mosley had fought and won a couple of fights or a title and then fought Manny that would seem fair. But he was coming off a very lopsided beating (except for those two punches in Rd 2).

As for PAC’s reign at 147 you are just blinded by your loyalty I guess.
So once again, Mathysse, Broner, Horn, Algieri etc

Lastly, JMM arguable beat PAC 4 times (KO’d him in the last) yet he could not win a single round against Floyd.
JMM is also on record saying that he won’t even bother pursuing a rematch because it didn’t matter what weight they fought at, Floyd was just too good for him.

So at 146 Cotto (previous fight) is ok but at 145 he's a whole different fighter? Cotto was Cotto that night and would have beat just about any other Welter.

Mosley had like a couple of back to back losses before Margarito if I remember right. I didn't credit Manny for an elite win and neither should Floyd.

JMM lost the first fight clearly due to a judging error. They were all close fights for Manny but Floyd came in 3 lbs over the catchweight so he shouldn't get any credit but I understand your feelings towards Floyd.

Matthyse, Algeri, Horn, Broner more than cancels out Zab, Berto, and Guerrero if we are comparing apples to apples in risk factor.

So there you have it. Manny "The Midget" has the better 147 Welter resume and you admitted it to me as well by naming 154 lbers you propped Floyd for, which Manny had the toughest risk factor vs Margarito (difference in fight night weight).

If Canelo didn't look like a skelton and they fought at his normal weight then I would credit Floyd that fight but I understand if you credit him those catchweights you bashed Manny for. That's what Floyd fans do.
