Tank was too young, but Haney is not?

    Lol...

I actually had the pleasure of watching Loma live at 20 years old a the European championships in 2008 and he was far more impressive than either of those guys. If that’s your honest opinion, you really need to go and watch more of Loma’s amateur fights. Loma at Beijing in 2008 was absolutely sensational.

At their age... Loma was convincingly beating guys like Oscar Valdez and Jose Carlos Ramirez.

I agree about the Pedraza weight stuff, but come on bro... don’t be delusional.

Actually I will spare you and agenda that you always push.

Once again, this isn't hard. Tank and his team should have been pursuing the Lomachenko fight. Their fighter wasn't going to get embarrassed and would have and still will compete with him. No shame in getting a loss from Lomachenko.

Haney is doing what Tank should have done and is going right after Lomachenko. But apparently that rubs people the wrong way and he is not "worthy" of the fight.
Loma has Commey ahead of him. If he wins and becomes undisputed, he can either fight his mandatory (Haney), pursue a fight with Tank (we know that won't happen--even though Tank says he is moving to 135 to get a title), or he may drop back to 130 for Berchelt.

No matter how you slice it, Loma does not have an easy fight ahead of him (with the exception of a Tank fight) out of those options.

You seem to want to cling to the defense of Tank at all costs. This was a simple question, it didn't require a long, convoluted explanation that doesn't answer the question.

There’s nothing to say he doesn’t want it tbf, I’m just going off my instinct.

Just looking at the landscape... Haney is fighting in Nov, Loma is likely fighting Commey/Lopez in the Spring 2020. That means Loma-Haney isn’t realistically happening until late Summer 2020. All this “no-machenko” BS seems a little too convenient to me.

Cling to the defense of Tank? Do you lack reading comprehension? Buddy, I've repeated MULTIPLE times in my post that Tank SHOULD have and still should pursue the Lomachenko fight. I've also posted on numerous occasions over the past year that he should fight Lomachenko and not avoid him.

I've giving Haney credit here for doing something that Tank refused to do.

Once again though, push your agenda like you always do and let me know about the 10 pound re-hydration clause an hour before the Spence/Pacquiao fight!

He's just pushing for the fight and getting his name out there so there could be buzz for it. He is doing exactly what most killed Tank for NOT doing. All this stuff about him being too young or not ready yet? Well, who cares, it is Haney who wants this challenge. Let him pay the consequences of not being ready if that truly is the case.

Pedraza himself says he was having trouble at that weight. He struggled to make weight against Tank.

Yeah I’m all for the fight (don’t think it happens tbh) if you’re good enough you’re old enough...

A loss to Loma isn’t going to hurt him at this stage and if he pulls off the upset, boxing will have a new superstar.

There's no agenda, since I am one of the Loma fans who would like to see him fight Haney. If you agree, then I don't know what you are disagreeing about, unless you are obviously still salty about the Spence/Pac rehydration clause debate. Time to move on, or at least stay on topic.

No, I am pointing the agendas you push all the time here.

If you want to see him fight Haney, then great! Leave it at that. But there is a reason you made this thread. You could have made a thread saying Haney is wanting to do something Tank refused to do, instead you bring the age angle to this. And there are others that have posted recently that Haney doesn't deserve the fight and he needs to prove himself. Why? What did Tank do to deserve the fight? Beat Pedraza?

Bingo! Lomachenko isn't a big puncher that is going to ruin you either. I mean once he gets rolling, you have to be mentally tough enough to overcome his onslaughts but no single punch is going to really ruin you. I believe and have believed that Tank gives Lomachenko a nice fight even if he loses. Wish his team was more confident as he won't get embarrassed and it only helps him in the long run.
