Its actually a bad outcome in a way if Pac beats spence or crawford. Even if he wins, you think those two arent landing some of theirs? It isnt healthy for a 41 year old to take those shots and then the win would compel him o fight on even longer.

Especially crawford, he is crafty and accurate, even if it went to a decision loss, he would **** up Pac pretty bad.

Looks like boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is getting stronger by the day as he knocked down his junior middleweight sparring partner Shawn Porter.

He did this not once but twice on Thursday according to a report by Philstar.com.

I can't see Manny fighting beyond another two years or so. He is on a fight to fight basis right now, and Hopkins style of fighting allowed him to continue for so long. When you are a clincher, and a dirty fighter you can last longer in the business.

We also have to take into account that Hopkins had about 50 fights when he was 41, versus Pac's 71 fights at the same age. Those 21 additional fights age a fighter more than a few well-preserved years fighting in a more defense-minded style.

Pacquiao changed the game when he beat Thurman! Although Thurman was definitely slipping, he was the favorite mostly due to the age difference! However, after Pacquiao beat Thurman, things are very different! Pacquiao is the favorite to beat anyone at WW besides Spence or Crawford! On top of that he's the biggest draw in the division! I would make Pacquiao the favorite to beat Mayweather in a rematch, unless Floyd had at least 2 tune-ups @ 147 before the fight! Floyd can't come off the couch and beat Manny!

Pacquiao won't fight for much longer, and why should he. Another fight or two and that may be it, but excellent win over a good young champion in Thurman.

Yeah I dunno what prompted BHop to make that statement, but that doesn't seem to be Team Pacquiao's plan.

Pac and Hopkins have way different styles.

Hops never really took a beating until his last 2 or so fights. His losses were just activity losses and not taking a lot of damage, even vs RJJ clearly lost but didnt take damage.

People forget Pac took a lot of punishment in the Mayorga, Clottey and Cotto fights, never mind the Morales fight and JMM fights.

Pac has a good defense but he takes risks and trades so hes taken a lot in those above fights.

I DONT want to see Pac fighting near 50 years old.

Cant see it happening two completely contrasting styles one high energy and high octane the other slower methodical more cerebral. Bhops style was built for longevity pacs isnt. Simple as that really.

No. Pac looked like **** in his fight with Thurman. If not for hurting him in the 10th, we have a draw. Pac won the first 5 and lost 6 of the next 7. I don’t care what the commentators was saying. And I wanted Pac to win cuz I hate Keith Thurman. So he definitely won by a point but he took a lot of punishment

How does it end in a draw? if it's 6-6, Pacquiao wins by 1 point. if it's 7-5 thurman, Thurman wins by a point. How is there a draw? Did the knockdown not count?

How is Pacquiao on roids when he's still doing what he's doing. All these other guys like Marquez and the woman beater *Floyd aren't even in the game anymore because of what steroids did to their bodies, yet people like you continue to bring up steroids for Pacquiao when he's still in the game and even in a high level of the game
