I’ve been watching boxing all my life and I have NEVER seen a boxer feels he won runs out the ring crying and then heads straight to the ER.

      Agree.

In about 6 months Oscar will realize he can't do math and that G isn't 40 yet. He'll go back to claiming that Golovkin needs to earn his shot and that Canelo is still mad at him for calling him a PED cheater. They'll offer him the fight in May 2021.

There HAS to be a third fight. NEEDS to be. Why? Not for the reasons everyone thinks. Not for DAZN. They were dumb enough to sign both these guys to huge contracts without some language guaranteeing them some leverage as to who they fight. Not for Trip G. He has had two shots at Alvarez and has no one else to blame for the disappointing outcomes. (I think he won the first fight as most do, but he fizzled out at the end and Alvarez swept the last two rounds. That is on Golovkin.) Besides, the cry-baby way he handled that loss without ever manning up to it lost him all kinds of respect. And, less importantly, lost me as a fan. Not for Alvarez. The dude has a bank account that makes Bill Gates shy away. Besides, a third fight with an older Golovkin is all risk, no real reward. If he wins, he beat an older slower opponent. If he loses it is an upset and Golovkin can point to the other two fights forever and say it proves he won them and judging was crap. Actually, I feel Alvarez should never fight Golovkin again.

So why do we have to have a third fight?? I do NOT want to be denied these forums leading up to the Pier 6 Rumble. These things are golden, the most entertaining thing on the web. I have read all 94 posts up to this point and it never, ever, ever gets old.

Please sign it, guys. I want to be entertained.

Wow. That so sums it up. I was actually in awe of him, all robbed up like Ric Flair, turning and running for the exits with no comments. I am SO betting if one more judge gave him one more round, wild horses could not have pulled him out of there.

these gggroupies are the worst...they have excuses everywhere...golovkin never does anything wrong and is always the victim! they sound like them pyschotic woman types that keep getting dumped then go and tell everyone how abusive all the bfs were later...it never ends with these guys

they been saying canelo waited for golovkin to get old since before the first one now they still crying! like golovkin wouldnt have been older a couple weeks ago LOL...what a bunch of friggin hoes man I swear....

when all is said and done canelo is going to have a resume that is 10x better than golovkins

I know it's tough for you to remember what it was like to be that age because that was 20 yrs ago for you, but fighters clearly slow down by their mid 30s. That's why almost all of the big names on canelos resume were 35 and older when canelo faced them. Mosley, mayweather, Cotto, ggg and now Kovalev. It's called selective matchmaking and being opportunistic. Even so, many believe Canelo should've held 3 Ls in those fights instead of just 1. Yet another ****** post by you exposing you as a groupie. Never seen a 67 yr old groupie before. Pathetic.

stop whining and crying... you dumb casual-fan shltter

having that fight in 2020 is not fair to Golovkin

we all know who the better-skilled more well-rounded fighter is

Golovkin clearly aint ready... Canelo would be cherry-picking

G needs more practice against higher-level opposition before he gets that smoke

the scrubs that Golovkin fought did not prepare him for Canelo and Jacobs... he needs at least 3-4 GOOD fights to ensure he is ready... and he needs more time with his new trainer

I say... 2021, maybe 2022... would be better

and of course... the trilogy fight should be at 168

I am sure that everyone agrees with my suggestion
