    golovkins doesnt...golovkins is crap

you cant penalize canelo for his age and then give golovkin props for his.....at the same token golovkin was a seasoned MW while canelo was still moving into it.....

thats like me saying "why would tank davis fight lomachenko...hed get no credit as hes so much younger"=how ****** would that sound if i did that? I dont knock guys like canelo for taking their time with their career and doing it on their time...thats what canelo did

still golovkins fans claimed if canelo ever grew a pair that golovkin would destroy his career...he did no such thing....the first fight? ok that was close...i could see either side making a legit argument

then golovkin asked for a certain fight and imo canelo whipped his rear end...it is what it is....we cant magically take a time machine and pit a 27 year old canelo vs a 27 year old golovkin....it would be neat but its not reality so we should stop trying.....canelo did things on his time...its his career arc and he doesnt need to cater to golovkin...if golovkin were a bigger star such as floyd was than maybe things would have been different....but golovkin didnt bring enough to the table for canelo to be in a hurry....stop trying to penalize canelo for doing him
Im one of the first to say Golovkin had a disappointing career, but for sure i feel Canelos is too. To me, hes best win is Trout, but theres been too many missed fights from 154 to 160 and now we're pretty much bypassing the real division and real fights for spectacles. When youre champion it should mean something. Golovkin fought the upcoming star, and now he hasnt got the belts. Canelo has, and he should fight the young guys who are in prime and give us the good fights. Guys like Andrade and the Charlos he missed at 154,and now hes going to miss them again, as well as Saunders, Smith ect, because Oscars already telling us, if not old, Kovalev, with an obvious rehydration limit, it would have been Muniga. All the messing around at 155 now looks even more ridiculous, with Canelo flying through weights like theres no tommorow, cynically picking the easiest targets for belts. Fielding was a joke and Kovalev is badly sliding and is sure to be drained. You cant really take the fights against each other out, but lets take Golovkin out of Canelos then. You got a loss to Floyd, wins over aging former Welters, and Trout. I thought he lost to Lara, but its arguable. But thats not a great resume either. Weight drained Chavez, an old slow Golovkin, split a pair to me, an ex Golovkin foe in Jacobs. It aint great. Wouldn't you rather see him tested at hes real weight, against young fast in shape guys who want the chance? Im a fan first and foremost, i want to see good fights with prime fighters.

Cinnamon might be targeting “older guys on they’re way out” but at least he’s targeting a champion. Unlike GGG who targeting a semi retired 154 pounder in Vanes. Or how he “targeted” the 94th raked MW. And now is targeting the easiest champ in the MW division.
Canelo wasnt smaller, hes a full middle and was when he fought Golovkin. He was the young lion, fighting the older slowing champion, much like Leonard did with Hagler. Ive been the first to admit Golovkin has been disappointing, but lets not pretend the same thing isn't happening here now. We've been told if not Kovalev we're getting Muniga. No Saunders, Andrade, Charlo, Smith Ramirez. No young up and coming hungry guys. Its all cherry picking. Dont pretend you'd rather see the old champ on a rehydration limit, instead of a fast strong young middle. And like i say, i dont think Pirog, Canelo, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko fights make Golovkin scared of a challenge. But hes career is a let down so far and sos Canelos imo.

Clenelo is a bum and pantyhose Oscar is too. GGG is smart to not fight in Vegas. Remember Adelaide Byrd? She got paid by GBP.

Older slowing Champion? Are you serious? Wasn’t he ranked #1 on mostly everyones P4P list? Lol. He is picking kova because he’s the easiest. Now he’s moving up 2 weight classes. When have you ever seen a guy move up 2 weight classes and fought the best champion in the division. All these guys you mentioned. Who are they fighting next? Probably some bum and everyone will blame Alvarez for that. They’ll say some nonsense like well if Canelo wouldn’t of ducked em they wouldn’t be facing a can. Now, can you confirm that there’s going to be a rehydration clause. Cuz I’d like to get a link to that. Or are you just assuming and looking for anything you can grasp to to discredit Cinnamon? Give the man credit we’re credit is due is all I’m saying. But we already know you Fanbois are never satisfied and like to cry so you never will.

I don't disagree with what you're saying, but I just think that stylistically, he will perform better against boxers. Thus my comment : he has a chance. Didn't say he necessarily wins them.

Beterbiev, on the other hand, is a different animal. He will get inside and beat him up. And yes, he is reckless, but he has a great chin and his will seems unbreakable. (see fight against Callum Johnson.)

And this is the reason why I think he will beat the skilled Ukrainian... By KO In the 8th.

            • Jackson Still so Salty

Jackson needs to get over himself and start training proper male fighters.

All the unsubstantiated bull-sh-i-t rumors of Kovalev's lifestyle. What do they know how he leads his life in Chelyabinsk and Russia and everywhere else?

All they go by is some media snippets.

I think you're projecting the fanboy bit, since if you look at my posts from the start ive always been happy to criticise Golovkin, but you cant see any wrong in Canelo, that's a personal thing, you're not being objective. I dont know anyone who rated Golovkin number 1 p4p in the world at the time. Nobody is in their prime mid 30s at middle, look at hes performances against Jacobs and Brook in the run up. You think he was the p4p champion? What you smoking? All these guys i mentioned, they all want the champion, the main man in the division. Thats Canelo, but hes not fighting the young lions hes fighting a faded older title holder again. Not doing what Bhop did against Tarver. Nope. Hey, i dont blame him, its business. But as a fan id rather he fought young guys on the up. But im a fan, not a fanboy. As for the rehydration limit, he had it at middle against Jacobs, i dont see any reason not to expect it. We'll see though. We'll also see if he ever fights a good sharp undefeated middle, since Bhop and Oscar tell us hes still a middle. Why wouldn't he?
