Nah for me, the way he fought Lomachenko was perfect. He actually had the perfect game plan to fight Lomachenko. He was executing it and he didn’t stray away from his game plan. To me, that takes a certain level of skill and discipline.

The only reason why he ended up losing, is because Loma is that good and is levels above Pedraza. But that’s not a jab at Pedraza. That’s just Loma being better.

That fight could’ve gone way worse for Pedraza, but because he fought a good fight, he was competitive for most of the fight.

So to me, that showed that he’s a solid fighter. Now, maybe that isn’t saying a whole lot. Praising a loss. But the way I see it, you can still look good losing. And you can still show your skills and show some good stuff in a loss.

you can look good losing but pedraza basically fought like mikey vs spence. no chance to win. he was being picked apart and never strayed from his strategy because he was content to lose on points. he didnt take any risks like he did when he fought tank thats why i dont understand why people compare the 2 fights. he pressured tank the whole fight and went fire with fire. he just picked and poked against loma and got the worst of it in almost every round. he really should have poked against tank and pressured loma based on their attributes but thats just my opinion.

Yeah his fight with Tank was impressive too because he was in the fight up until the stoppage he looked good in that one too.

I think the way he fought Lomachenko gave him the best odds to beat him. I think pressuring Lomachenko would’ve gotten him possibly KOed.

He should go down to the lightweight division and make that weight division competitive.

His two title wins are Edner Cherry and Raymundo Beltran. Arguably lost the Cherry fight.

People are reading way too deep into this lol.

pedraza needs to move back down if he can't because of weight issues he's finished!

He made his debut at 140 with a credible opponent. But if he can't be competitive he has to drop down.
