It was a nuts late notice fight. Hes scheduled to fight a 50 something ranked 10-1, 3KO guy for months & on 1 day notice he gets a 30 something ranked 20-1, 16KO guy as a late sub lol.

While I think that Ryan has yet to prove himself and have my doubts about him, I also think that it is inexcusable for a promoter to publically denigrate and lie about one of his fighters. That is clearly bush league, or more precisely just plain ******. If there are levels of ******ity, this dumb azz move puts Golden Boy at the top of the list. Whatever the stuff the GB crew is on, they had better wake up and make this right or they will become a laughing stock. What young fighter would ant to sign with these clowns if they publically disrespect their own fighters?

Ryan should sign with haymon, fight on FOX and Showtime, and be his own promoter. That way he can keep more of the money he generates. Generating $1m in profit yet getting only $50k in pay is what you get when you sign your career away with an actual promoter. PBC has shown fighters that they can have their own promotional companies and let the networks publicise for overall profit.
