Emmanuel Steward was never a pro boxer. Does that mean Eric Crumble or Rockin knows more than him?

I can sign up as an amateur right now or get licensed as a professional right now... And then go out and get my ass kicked.
I'd still have as much knowledge today as I did yesterday. How would an easy to get license give me so much credibility?
It's not the boxing license that gives one credibility
You guy's put so much weight into having laced them up around here. It's what made Rockin the laughing stock of the forum for year's.. Just read one of Annie's threads.
Larry Merchant, Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman, etc... They must not know anything about the sport either, right?Last edited by Chollo Vista; 04-15-2020, 02:08 PM.Comment

Great amateur, very good skills, but those skills haven't been tested by fighters worth anything. Linares, Campbell, and a 50-pound Rigo don't do it for me.
He has a potential to be great within the next two years by wiping out his division and surrounding. I wanna see these fights: Davis, Lopez, Haney, Stevenson, Garcia. School these young guns.Comment

A boxing license doesn't make someone knowledgeable of the sport. Being knowledgeable of the sport does.Comment

Here's what I have to do to become finally "validated" in the eye's of Lomadeaux or Rexy as a real fighter:
"To fight in your state as an amateur boxer, check with your state's athletic commission to see if you need to obtain a license. In most states, to acquire a license, you must pass a physical and submit an application. Medical tests, such as an EKG, various neurological tests and blood work, are often required, as well."
Whether or not I get KO'd in the first 15 seconds, that doesn't matter because at least I laced them up... Then and only then, can I officially come on boxingscene and post discussions about another boxer.Comment

I already showed you one thread where posters were calling Rigo an ATG, and there are dozens more I can dredge up. All that talk came to a halt in December of 2017. No one since has been talking that nonsense.
Tank is relevant because he is routinely defended by the likes of you and other posters here. He gets a pass for avoiding fighters who you accuse Loma of avoiding (Berchelt). That's why he comes into the discussion, there is obvious cross-pollination between them given they are in the same weight classes.
Tank’s career has no bearing on whether or not Loma is an ATG. If he is brought up in different threads with different topics or If in those threads posters weren’t critical of Tank that has no bearing whatsoever on considering whether Loma is an ATG.
The only thing that determines if Loma is an ATG or his p4p ranking is his resume. His resume doesn't warrant ATG consideration.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 04-15-2020, 02:27 PM.Comment

And as for the names at the bottom, Don't you call them racists who DKSAB?Comment

It is so obvious. The thread where these same guys were killing Steve Kim's pick of Inoue as racist proves this beyond any doubt.Comment
