Yeah on paper he has but let’s not ignore the fact those WSB fights are actually harder fights than the usual fights people early in their pro career
It’s no coincidence that Usyk and Loma are doing great things in so few fights and could be fast tracked. It is because they’re exceptional but it’s also because they spend time fighting those WSB fights too
Even Joe Joyce to a lesser extent, he’s not on their level but he’s fighting guys like Jennings in about 10 pro fights because he also fought a lot in WSB
That WSB is more beneficial to a pro career than knocking out 15 bums on the way up to build a recordComment

Lomachenko's Opponents Combined Record is 431-39
431-39 in 15 fights. Insane. I'd be willing to bet that's probably never happened before.
Haney's for example is 276-155 in 23 fights.
Davis, 324-121 in 22 fights.
Doubt they're even considering a fight before before Commey-Lopez winner but here's to hoping I guess.
Saensak Muangsurin won a world title in his 3rd pro fight as well. In his first 15 fights he had an opponent combined record of 443-85. Flat out wild.Comment

Okay. Did you know that to this very day there are still people here who think Amir Khan would beat Floyd Mayweather? And yet Floyd beating Khan would do absolutely nothing to his enhance his legacy. People making delusional predictions doesn't change reality. I'm not a hater. I do give Loma his props, he did what he had to. But the fact of the matter is Rigo was old and extremely undersized at the time. It was a solid win for Loma but not a career defining one.
When I'm browsing Loma's pro resume, I rarely notice Rigo, but I always do Russell. The Loma-Russell fight was also quite entertaining. Loma's best skill fight in my opinion. I never saw too much since.Comment

My boys are good, Loma should fight them.
For me, Haney should wait a little longer. Maybe fight Garcia or Stevenson. I don't see the rush with him.
Let Loma calm Davis down first. Uncle Arum should make this fight. The best PPV, better than Crawford-Spence. The only 2 PPV I'd pay for.
Encourage the fight.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 09-16-2019, 08:28 PM.Comment

The bold is true. I never really took to Rigo. I found him painful to watch like Porter, although they have their moments.

And yes, the Russell fight was pretty impressive. Russell really took that loss hard.Comment
