I told all of you here after the Dec 2018 fight that the Tyson we saw was "the best Tyson Fury you will ever see".
I explained that the Fury that Wilder fought had been in the gym a year, had the benefit of 2 tune-ups (possibly vs tougher competition than he has fought since Deontay), and had over 2 months of prep time since losing weight was no longer an issue by August.
Some of you scoffed at my take.
I wonder what those of you who did so think now.
I wonder what those of you who denigrate Wilder's skill level and resume would say if it was Deontay in there last night, getting bloodied and going 12 rugged rounds with a guy not even in the top 45.
