Now we got Devin Haney who is 20 years old, has a right to a fight with No-Machenko as the 'Interim' WBC lightweight champion, yet, some of the same fans that demanded a young Gervonta to step up, now want Devin Haney to get a little more seasoning and find the idea of marinating this fight ideal .

I smell the fear of you No-Machenko fans. You have no shame.
Worse is the Haney should go fight Davis chants. Why not see Loma fight both.

A Round-robin between No-Machenko, TANK, and Haney sounds good.

Everyone who does get a clue in pro boxing would understand that Haney has only lucky punch chance in his fight against Loma, otherwise he will get outschooled, outpointed or even knocked out because he is still raw boxer. He would not even be able to win over Campbell its 100% that he would lose to Campbell or Linares. Haney is gifted fighter but he needs some decent opponent before he gets Loma's fight. The only fighter who can at least present some problems to Loma is Davis but Floyd would never happen this fight..
Haney against Farmer or Garica does make sense. Loma does not need Haney for moving on getting all belts he needs. Haney would get nothing but experience against Loma and 1 defeat in his record, he does not need this fight either.. Let Loma fight Lopez-Commey and after he gets his belt let's see. May be Haney will get his chance to be taken to school by Loma.

Yes they did.The 70s and 80s was full of tv fights every weekend with ABC NBC and CBS competing with each other .The fights were full of ranked contenders fighting each other to obtain the higher ranking and put themselves in a position for a title shot. There was only the wba and wbc tittles available not the five titles like today.HBO was only elite fighters and kIng used to put ppv on with ranked fighters fighting each other on the undercard with maybe four or five undercard fights.

Reminds me of Spence chasing Thurman, except the fans and media were calling Thurman out on not answering the challenge from Spence. But as usual Loma gets a pass!

Lom is already targeted for a unification so everyone will have to wait till late next year and in the meantime these other guys waiting can fight each other.
                This is true.

This is the problem. Haney just doesn't understand what makes Loma tick. A lot of people get this wrong, and I don't know why - it isn't like Loma is shy about saying what motivates him.

Loma isn't interested in easy fights, or easy paydays.

Haney is using the wrong bait. He's using a tofu burger to try to catch a tiger. That won't work.
                    Devin scares you too huh?

Either way, calling Lomachenko out gets the ball rolling. I'd like to see Haney take a tougher opponent first. I'd like to see him fight Campbell, Crolla, or even Nakatani next. That would set him up in prime position to call for Lomachenko after he unifies with the Commey-Lopez winner.
He was supposed to get the campbell fight for the vacant wbc belt BUT the powers that be didn't want Haney to get the belt cuz THEN lomo would have to go through Devin to get that belt & they don't want THAT! SO F that "I'd like to see Haney take a tougher opponent first" shet. We want the fight sooner rather than later so these stans don't come up with any excuses.
