As Stated Wallin Did Better against improved Fury .

Wallin is the best win Wilder WOULD have ,he proved it against fury.

Not really. Wilder dropped Fury twice and almost KO'd him. There were a lot of close rounds in that fight which is why it was called a draw.

Wallin did better than expected but I'm not sure it was against an improved fury. Like his dad said, he looked drained, slow and sluggish. He was getting caught more than usual, some of that is credit to Wallin but Fury didn't look as sharp or as quick on his feet as he did against Wilder. Wilder and even AJ would've probably capitalized on Fury's performance last night and knocked him out. Ruiz would've given him hell.

Wallin doing better than expected and winning four rounds isn't the same as Wilder dropping Fury twice and getting a draw in a close fight.

Like I said the narrative would change,no matter what.

The fact is Wallin is the first 6'5 plus guy to bring boxing pressure to him.Ruiz is slow footed with a short reach both Wallin and fury get by him . To defeat Wallin you need to be an aggressive power puncher unless you have a 85 inch reach, and it was nearly even here.

When a ''top'' guy is up against guys like Otto, one can be excused for not taking them seriously.
When a ''top'' guy is up against another ''top'' guy, those fights will not look alike.

It's nothing new at all. The stories been the same since day 1. It's the #1 reason why underdogs win. Even when they don't. They throw caution to the wind and fight as if it's their last fight (which it usually is).

Dogs are easier to beat after each outing.

Wallin won 4 rounds at best, the rounds were easier to score than the Wilder fight. There were some swing rounds that people gave to Fury because he seemed in control against Wilder but if Fury fans are honest with themselves they'll notice a good few rounds where neither Fury or Wilder were having much success, factor in the two knockdowns with honest scoring and it's not far-fetched to get a draw.

Wallin did not do better than Wilder. Fury did not look improved against Wallin.
