Fury would have an easy night with Ruiz.
A side Snickers has good hand speed but doesn’t have the footwork to get inside or overcome the length advantage Fury has.
If Fury wasn’t cut he would have gotten that guy out quicker.
Like Tim Bradley said during the fight, Fury had only fought a round and a half since the Wilder draw and needed some rounds.

Otto Wallin had a better chance to beat Fury than Ruiz ever will. Those short arms physically cannot reach the face of a 6’ 9” Fury. At range, Ruiz would be Fury’s easiest opponent to date.

I agree Wilder puts Ruiz to sleep and I think Fury might out box Ruiz (but not necessarily). I also agree Ruiz is obese but it does not seem to effect his stamina. He also has a good chin. The chin issue is Joshua's shortcoming and his Achilles heel. If a fighter's physique always dictated the outcome of a fight then Josh would not have lost. The better fighter won.

Fury would struggle against any top 5 fighter which is why he fought Schwarz and Wallin. Fury knows he has to go 12 rounds with almost everyone, so he's going to pick someone with less power, less durability and less wins. He's just after title fights, but he asked for 60/40 against AJ so apparently he's only after title fights he thinks he can win

These two should take the bug money rematch asap.
Fury has the style to deal with Wilder (at least until he gets hit). Wilder is a much better boxer than given credit for, great jab, quick feet and awesome punching power. Still, Wilders arsenal is mostly offense. When the other fighter (like Fury) has the ability to avoid his offensive then he stands a good chance to win on points.

I previously thought Fury would crush Ruiz but after seeing how easy Wallin was able to get inside on Fury, and force him to smother himself I am not so sure anymore. Maybe Fury is one of those guys that fights to his level of opposition. An inside fighter like Andy who has hand speed would pose problems to this Fury. Also fast hands and now with that scar tissue any top level fighter will now target it since it was such a bad cut. Being blind out of one eye fighting Ruiz/Joshua/Wilder guarantees a loss against those guys.

Anyway, he completely outboxed Wilder which is not unusual considering the level of guys who have done that before.

AJ is fighting on a different level to these guys and once he is done with righting the wrong of Ruiz, watch how Fury//Wilder delay their fight long enough to avoid AJ later in the year.
Wilder admits that he's a knockout artist not a masterful boxer. Still the only way a master boxer beats Wilder is to avoid being knocked out.
