Wilder is the biggest loser in boxing in 2019

The other top-2 have made their money regardless of what happens in their careers from now. Fury has $100m guaranteed with ESPN. AJ has made almost $150m in his career and is about to make extra $100m in Dec. Only Wilder is left out of the big money.

Wilder can only make big money if he fights the two Brits - AJ and Fury. He had the opportunity to fight AJ but ducked the fight, banking on the Fury rematch and AJ's profile growing in the US for more money. Ruiz messed the AJ plan up in June and I don't see AJ fighting him any time soon even if he beats Ruiz. He can't jump from big fights to big fights anymore - he needs a breather for at least a year. The Fury rematch is also in the balance now because Fury needs at least a year away from punchers for his cuts to fully heal. So I don't see Fury fighting him any time soon. Seferi, Schwarz and Panetta have a better chance of getting their rematches than Wilder at this point, lol.

To make any decent money, Wilder would have to settle for his nemesis and the 3rd Brit - Dillian Whyte. He needs to call Dillian out and start building for the big showdown at the o2 for £10m from Matchroom.

      It's prize fighting, mate.

If you're not making decent money in a sport as dangerous as boxing, you're a loser. Despite what happened to AJ and Fury - they have made their money. And they can retire next year and never struggle again. Wilder can't do the same.

He needs to call out Dillian Whyte and get as much money as he can from Matchroom for the showdown at o2. AJ and Fury aren't fighting him until earliest, 2021. AJ thought he was invincible and could get away with everything until he went in the ring unprepared against the fat Mexican. He has learnt his lessons now and I doubt he'll be gunning for tough fights after tough fights, after this. And Fury's cuts won't fully heal until earliest, 2021 unless he wants them to reopen.

Dillian Whyte is Wilder's best option going forward.

He has tens of millions in his fortune, don't think he'll be queueing up for the food banks any time soon.

Tens of millions? Which US bank did he rob for that?

Wilder made only $2.1m against Ortiz last year (second time he made at least a million in his career) and less than $10m against Fury. And I doubt he got paid more than $6million against Breazeale.

Once you take out taxes and 3-4 people that manage/promote him. Where's the tens of millions going to come from? LMAO. I'd be shocked if Wilder is worth more than $5m. Dillian Whyte has made more money in his career than Wilder.

He's quoted on the forbes list as making 30.5 million and it's a certainty they know Alot more than you about athletes earnings. Dillian Whyte incidentally is nowhere to be seen on that list. Your bum chum AJ is on it but no dopin Dillian

              LMAO at Forbes.

Forbes also claimed Kyle Jenner and Jay Z are billionaires. LMAO.

Don't forget Forbes also claimed Pablo Escobar was worth $30billion. LMAO.

Forbes was claimed Wilder made $10m against Fury and $20million against Breazeale, loooool. If you believe that - you'll believe anything.

Regardless of his worth, the point stands doesn't it?

He's earned a fraction of the other guys from longer in the sport, more pro fights, and he's older than them.

And the edge is dropping off this HW era.

Go back to when Joshua beat Parker and Wilder beat Ortiz. How excited were you about the division? Then we had Joshua v Povetkin... and Fury v Wilder at the end of the year brought Fury back into the mix.

Now? I'm not convinced the big fights have marinated well. The division generally isn't anywhere as near exciting.

By the time Wilder fights Ortiz he'll be 34. Another 6 months and he still won't be fighting Fury. How many big money fights has he even got in him?

Anthony Joshua is the biggest loser of the year.

He made his American debut to become a crossover star and was knocked out in brutal fashion.

He was knocked out by a fat guy who wasn’t ranked inside the top 10 by anyone.

There isn’t even another boxer who could be considered for the title of biggest loser in 2019.
