Will he have enough time to heal the cuts and will the scar tissue reopen. Might be a case of you won the battle but lost the war letting him fight on tonight.

I have to agree...I'm confident the majority of lower stakes fights would have been stopped with a cut of that magnitude. The bottom line for team Fury definitely took precedence here.

    • Good win for Fury, and a great display of his skill set. Wallin was a 30-1 underdog, but what the bookies think doesn't define a fighter. Based on his performance, he looks to be a tough night out for any heavyweight, but he's going to need to work on his stamina. Fury overall wasn't stellar IMO, and the cut certainly didn't help things. He gets a little sloppy when he's doing his showman thing, and that's definitely gonna cause problems if he tries it against Wilder. Still, he has a 12 round engine, and the high ring IQ and ironclad will are both hard to deny.

Has Fury ever been cut before , cause he was making it worst by pawing at it
He was probably trying to stretch it out so he could see out of it

They mentioned briefly that he had only been cut once, against mcdermott.

And pawing at it is just reflex, unfortunately.

That was my exact scoring. I gave Wallin 2-4 and 12.

His coach was great with him...I know he was torn, but made the right decision to let him continue. I actually remember that Gatti fight where his coach was KOe'd lol!

                    • With any type of a cut along the eyebrow or lid you have to wait at least 90 days to start sparring, some doctors recommend 180 days. That is a very bad cut. I don't think it will be completely healed by February 2020.
