Brook went to LA and beat Porter, and Spence went to the UK to beat Brook. I know that Crawford is the champ and probably doesn't want to go to his opponent's home turf, but he needs this fight if PBC freezes him out again.
After Mean Machine he will probably choose to fight Bes***** for the WBA Regular belt if he cant get Spence or Pac. As we have seen with his 140 run. Crawford likes to collect titles and collecting another one would mean more to him than fighting Brook.

Why is it a terrible fight?

Would you rather see him fight a guy named Kavaliauskas, who no one ever heard of?

Brook: "Why didn’t you sign off on our fight when I was in New York to make it in April? Let’s have our teams talk and you can leave the making weight to me Terence. You just focus on ‘dusting off’ that WBO strap for me and we can give the fans a great fight!"
          Good point by Kell.

It's obvious Crawford is not interested.

Everyone already knows the outcome of this fight.

Crawford is accurate enough and has enough power that he will target Kell's busted eye and rebreak it. Crawford stops Kell.

What makes you think Brook will ask for $5 million?

Don't forget, Brook was okay with getting paid $200K when he fought Porter in California.

The fight would have to be in the UK on Sky Box Office for it to happen. And honestly, why not if you are Crawford? You rather face someone like Brook than Collazo or someone of that caliber.

I mean if the Spence fight happens next then this fight is irrelevant. But if Spence beats Porter and gets Pacquiao? Then Crawford vs Brook is decent.

Brook has a contract that says that. This isn’t the contract he signed in 2012 when he was a mandatory and unknown. And that contract is in pounds sterling not dollars neither.

The why not is because it’s high risk, no reward.

Everyone has decided Kell Brook is shot because he lost to two top p4p fighters. So if Crawford wins, no one cares.

Crawford has fought in the UK before but not as the champ, and not as the name he is now. As your name gets bigger you tend not to even consider travelling, especially American boxers.
Brook does need this more than Crawford. He's had two fights at 154, but he can't beat the top guys, so he should just take another shot at 147. A win against Crawford would reinvigorate his career, and if he loses, he could still fight Khan at 147.
