Loma should be given credit for being more into the sports side of boxing and slightly less into the money side - so far. Other fighters don't take that road. Look at Keith Thurman. He was being called out by Spence forever and did whatever he could to avoid that fight including looooong breaks and virtually going awol - all because, and as it turns out, correctly, he thought if he kept his belt long enough he could get a huge payday against Pac.

Loma's big payday was Garcia and I seem to remember him calling him out after one fight but Micky took a bigger payday and guaranteed loss against Spence.

You've been around long enough to know that nearly all champs take keep-busy fights (Crolla) and to know that beats-the-eyeball-test dangerous contenders Spence-Golovkin-Haney get avoided by champs who are vulnerable and/or into the pay-off part of their careers.
Luke Campbell had 2 losses going into the Lomachenko fight and hadn't really beaten anybody. That's not some impressive victory in my book. Just slightly above Crolla.

Yet you guys give Lomachenko a pass for that.

Then here comes Haney who is undefeated and next in line for a WBC title shot...but all of a sudden you guys say Haney needs more seasoning and better wins.

Why those requirements for him and not for Campbell? It's laughable.

Who are "you guys"? .... I'm me.

the "you guys" crap shows you have an agenda to diss Loma - and he hasn't even said he won't fight Haney yet.

I already explained that i'd like to see the fight in another post where i replied to you but you are so busy with your agenda that you ignored it

I was answering to two of you in this thread. Both of you defend the Campbell fight for Lomachenko but think Haney needs to do more for some reason.

If you would like to see the Haney fight then that's good. No need to wait longer, let's get it before Lomachenko drops down in weight.

Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about! If Tank won't fight Loma then let him fight the winner of Commey/Lopez next. Then he should defend his WBC title against mandatory challenger Devin Haney. He doesn't have to move down in weight to 126 and relinquish his lightweight titles in order to avoid Devin Haney.

They are only saying that because they want Lomachenko to avoid Haney because he is that good and they are afraid of Loma losing to him. Shit! Even Arum is afraid of losing to Devin Haney.

Hey child, stop putting words in my mouth and read the posts well - engage brain before typing.

If I ever get to the state where i'm "afraid" for the welfare of somebody (loma or any other boxer) I've never met, then I'd be an extreme delusional fanboi, just like you. Grow up ffs!

Well he can't run forever; Meaning Lomachenko. Vacating the division would be the ultimate sign of cowardice.

Fight the man next or fight the winner of Commey/Lopez. Nah, motherfuck that!
                Fight Devin Haney!

He's the cream of the crop of the 135 lbs division. He is the crème de la crème of the Lightweight division. I guarantee you Devin fucks him up. Which is why Haney calls him No-machenko.

Tell him to hurry up and bring it on. So he can whup his ass.
