    Canelo believes Kovalev is shot

    Mario Lopez said yesterday on his podcast show with Steve Kim said that the Canelo fight is done and its just not been announced yet. Him and Oscar are friends and he knew this fight was made. When talking with Oscar he says he was told Canelo feels Kov legs are shot and he could cut off the ring and start attacking the body.

      so who cares? he obviously thinks he can beat him. everyone's done this from SRRL, floyd to manny. Just the way it is. Still an amazing win if he does win though.

              Its still crazy cause he might be underestimating Kov. But the only reason he took the fight and didnt go after someone like Bivol or the other champs is because he thinks Kov doesn't have the movement anymore.

              Still a risk but a calculated one.

                  To be honest. Kov is really not top LHW anymore.. any other LHW beats him IMO.

                          Having this fight so soon after Kovalev's last one (3 weeks ago) might actually see Kovalev in much better shape than anyone's expecting. Kovalev on a good night will give anyone trouble and Canelo will be the much smaller man. In any event...nobody's going to decision Canelo even if they win every round. Still very curious about his though.
