No catchweight or rehydration clauses for Kovalev. Canelo haters can suck it.

I don't know where you got the 180lbs rehydration limit from, probably from that fake tweet from another thread. Before we start the outrage about a rehydration limit, how about we find out some facts like what Kovalev's fight night weight is recently. If it's near 190, then a 10lb limit for 2nd day AM weigh in would be reasonable wouldn't it?Stop with that ignorant fanboy bullshyt. A 180lb rehydration limit is just as detrimental as a catchweight but it's wrapped in a bow to fool the gullible.
If Canelo legitimately fights him at 175 with no bullshyt, I'll give him full credit, win or lose.
However, the guy is known for bullshyt like "Caneloweight", farce matches, PED use. Don't act outraged that people want to know the facts.
I'm hoping there is no rehydration limit for the record, but we need to gather some facts before we continue the discussion.Comment

Not a word in the tweet about a rehydration clause.Just give the man his full credit if he wins.
Sources: The Canelo Alvarez-Sergey Kovalev light heavyweight title fight will take at the light heavyweight limit of 175 pounds as expected. There’s no catchweight in the contract for the Nov. 2 bout

This is better than beating David Diaz at 135, or winning a bogus Light Welterweight title against plasterless Margarito at 150. I used to hate Canelo 10 years ago when he was starting to make a name for himself, but he lived up to his hype by beating several future hall of fame boxers.Strange perspective
I’ve made no attempt to discredit him. All I want to know are the facts surrounding the fight
The praise being thrown around, justifiably, is because Canelo is daring to move up, and beat the reigning LHW champion in his division. Any catchweight or rehydration crap totally dampens that, making it a pointless fight.
But a part of me wants to believe Canelo isn’t messing around, and so far from looking for something to discredit, I actually want to give respectLast edited by RomanReigns; 09-13-2019, 05:07 PM.Comment
