Why do people think Fury is a great boxer?

You said in your original post Fury doesn’t compare to Mayweather or Whitaker.
The poster you’re calling dumb basically said, “of course not, he’s 6-9, 250”
You then call him ****** for comparing Fury to Mayweather and Whitaker.
Wow.

Just because the bum and one-trick pony, Wilder, is your idol and Fury made the bum look like the bum he's, that doesn't mean he's that good. Anyone decent boxer would make Wilder look like that.
Wilder had one jab that night: use his jab and work Fury's fu..cked up body until he loosens up before throwing that big right. But this bummy idiot was just running around swinging those idiotic telegraphed punches.

Manny Steward had an unbelievable eye - he was a master of the sport - go back and watch some of the fights he commented on, he has this uncanny ability to see and predict where the fight is going, he also had an unbelievable ability to judge talent and judge it from a young age.
It is no surprise to me to see Fury at the top of the division, and partly because I piggybacked Steward's eye and he saw it in camp when he was still a young fighter. In a similar case I remember seeing an interview with Manny Steward about Ricky Hatton when he saw him as an amateur, and he said then that Hatton was shadow boxing 15-16 rounds without rest and he could tell from the movement and work ethic then "that kid will be a world champion"
So my point is TS learn to use your own eye and opinion, but also pay attention to the people that know more than you.
People are positive during commentary and a lot of hyperbole is involved. Manny also said Deontay Wilder is a great boxer and even Ray Charles knows Wilder is anything but a boxer.
Stop the madness.

Ask any non-biased pro who has been in the gym with Fury and they'll say the same, Fury is #1.

Listen, the guy can obviously box well, but we all know it’s ugly as hell.
He’s not pleasing to the eyes to look at when he’s fighting.
He’s got an awkward style that suits him well in this era of heavyweights. Guys who know how to get on the inside and slip punches would definitely have no issue with him.

Why is Dillian Whyte even in the conversation are the UK fans that desperate smh...
I believe Dillian Whyte will beat him. He won't win the mental game like he does with other boxers and body shots and left hooks are Fury's kryptonite. And both are what Dillian is good at.

Oh, Fury is gonna jab his off. LMAO. Why isn't he taking tough fights then, if he's that good? His jab isn't even that stiff and he's below average on the front foot because he never commits. He just runs around for 12 rds like his cousin, albeit he's a tad more aggressive.
I hope either AJ or Ruiz drops one of the belts, so he can fight for one of them against Usyk or Dillian Whyte. or just beat Wilder for the WBC belt and fight Dillian Whyte as his mandatory. Either of the two will shut a lot of people up.
In as much as I don't think Usyk is that great as well - Fury's punches won't trouble him and he has that late energy burst in fights due to his workrate. And Dillian Whyte has the tools to knock Fury's head off if he's disciplined.
