Deontay Wilder, puppet or scared?

Fighting 39 bums and ducking Klitschko while being a champion.
How brave!
Fighting Fury, after he came off 2 years of drugs, alcohol and blowing up, and had to lose over 100lb for the match.
How stunning!
Ducking $120m to fight Joshua and Breazeale, just to fight only the latter on Showtime for less.
How magnificent!
Ortiz is the only talented fighter Wilder has faced, who didn't destroy himself physically or have to lose a horrific amount of weight for the bout. Breazeale is a cab driver, who was handed the mandatory position, so I don't know why you bothered mentioning him.
I do like Breazeale though. He's a good fighter and I think he deserved the mandatory shot. It was better than Wilder cherry picking another bum.Comment

Arguably the most impartial ranking system, TBRB, says you are wrong.
I know its hard to admit when you are wrong but I don't think anyone will hold it against you if you just apologise and say you were wrongComment

Wilder ain't scared. Wilder is rich in self confidence. He truly believes he is the baddest man on the planet and truly believes he beats Joshua and truly believes he was damn unlucky not to get the win against Fury along with some bad counting by the ref.
Nothing wrong with any of that. Wilders problem is he is a god damn moron, as dumb as they come, ****** even by alabama standards. He truly believes he is worth what he thinks he's worth and thinks he is being truly rightious in being a pathetic ducking unreasonable weirdo diva. He is clearly a puppet to Al Haymon. To be fair to the pair of them wilder aint done bad out of his career so far but by this stage he could of done alot more and all going well be a PPV superstar by now.
This last couple of years Al haymon has made him some good money but cost him a whole lot more and the chance to be undisputed which in itself brings a sack full of gifts and opportunities.
Yeah wilder is definitely a puppet but is too dumb to notice.Comment

Every B side wants to be paid as much as an A side opponent, but if they also want the fight, they accept the reality of the situation. Especially if the reality of the situation is at least 10 times more money than they've ever earned before or can expect to earn fighting somebody else.Comment

I can't get enough of the Ortiz is better then Klitschko statements on here , that's got to be a top 5 crazy criteria for determining someone's logic. HaComment

Absolutely he is both. I don't think he is scared in the truest sense but he knows or believes that his undefeated record is his ticket and preserving it means skipping over Top 10 guys year after year after year.
The video pretty much covered it. He was a contender since 2014 pretty much. Someone should pile up all the Top 10 rankings from 2014 all the way to 2019, and see who he DID NOT face during those years.
Off the top of my head i can already list a few that are or were contenders during those years that others fought but he didn't:
Wlad - was the champion
Vitali - Was the WBC Champion. He wasn't so eager to fight for the WBC title then.
Pulev - was a contender then, and is STILL a contender now
Povetkin - we know what happened there. Alexander ***ed up but Wilder wasn't exactly eager to face him, the way he was with Louis Ortiz who also tested positive but he saw something that he could exploit. That fight never got negotiated but was mandated through a purse bid, and Povetkin's promoter outbid Wilder's promoter and that's why he was forced to go to Russia kicking and screaming. Did he ever attempt to make a VOLUNTARY defense against him since then?
Tony Thompson - always a durable guy. Gave Wlad a good fight and ended up exposing undefeated David Price whose handlers did make a mistake in trying to build him up by feeding him a past-prime gatekeeper.
And if we go by the current slew of fighter since the start of when Joshua picked up his first belt, Joshua consistently fought Top 10 guys who are OBJECTIVELY ranked in all of the organizations as well as Ring Magazine. Those would include:
Dillan Whyte - who is still sitting on his WBC mandatory shot and I hope he never fights the Joshua/Ruiz winner and cashes in on that mandate
Joseph Parker - Now why does Joshua have to fight a undefeated WBO Title holder and unify, when Wilder could've done it? I've never seen an article that this fight was ever being negotiated.
Andy Ruiz Jr - was a contender since 2016, hence why Parker made a title defense against him. And a stable mate of Wilder. Why not fight a guy with only one loss?
That's seven guys missing off of a 41 fight career that started in 2008, when President ***** got elected fight Christ sake.

So Jennings and also at THAT time Amir Mansour was very tough he didn't want that fight either.
Aslo declined 2 million to fight Briggs around 2016? if that's included.Comment

I don't think Wilder is scared of anyone. It's become evident that his power is very real. He started boxing very late in life and the fact that he was able to accomplish as much as he has in the amateur and pro ranks speaks to his discipline and athleticism.
He's not the best technician in the ring. But if catches you with that right hand it's lights out 9/10 times.
His record isn't full of big names, but he's fought good fighters as of late. Especially in Ortiz and Fury.Comment

Well to his credit, he did apparently agree to fight Fury.Comment
