17 year old, wanting to learn

hey there, i'm 17 years old 6 feet and 160 lbs and i'm very interested in boxing. i have no previous experience in fighting (Aside from the martial arts i took when i was 10 till 12 y/o). i'm in somewhat good shape since i played high school football. i live in northern ******ia (ashburn in loudoun county) and i was wondering how i get started? how do the professionals get started? i'm down for all the training that comes with the job and once i get started on something i become obsessive...so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great! thanks
