If this is true DAZN management is worse than I thought. We saw glimpses of their inexperience when they tried to force Canelo to fight GGG. You have Canelo, you have all the leverage in the world and this is the deal you get? Embarrassing.

that's exactly it. Golden boy are masters at minimizing risk when it comes to Canelo. Remember how long it took for Canelo to supposedly grow into mw from 155? Yet he had no issue going to 168 for fielding and now 175 for Kovalev. Golden boy knows that Kovalev is 36,has been in some wars, and now has to try and get his body prepped for another teisning camp after just fighting 2 weeks ago. Meanwhile, Canelo has been off since May. Kovalev has alot going against him and golden boy knows it.

Kovalev doesn't have a chance.GB wouldn't have taking this fight if Canelo had a chance to lose. Just another easy money grab for GB and their protected fighter. If Kovelev lands 1000 hard jabs they will still give it to Canelo. Fight Usyx and I will give him credit

Yeah, he grew. He became "natural middleweight" long before fighting Golovkin. He fought championship fights at 155, being a "natural middleweight". Look how big he was against Cotto. He was getting an advantage over his opponents.
And now his growth accelerated. Over about 2 years he grew to become 168 fighter, aiming to fight at 174.

Triple flop is a natural heavyweight look how much bigger than the 200 lbs canelo he lookd on fight night.

              Lol.

Bhop’s defense and having Kovalev miss wasn’t choreographed.

Canelo is ready for the test.

                Don’t feed the casual fans.

That poster said Canelo fought “Championship” fights at 155 being a “natural Middleweight.” These dummies are so confused they’d probably say “Canelo vs Cotto or Khan at the full 160 limit would’ve been more fair!” These guys also don’t know that Angulo, Lara, Kirkland had WAY MORE fights above 155 before Canelo even fought at 155. So what does that mean? That Kirkland, Angulo, Lara were deprived not fighting at 160? People say Kirkland walked around 200lbs and had to lose a lot of muscle mass for his fight with Canelo

Kovalev has big chance here and i see it 60-40 in favor of Kovalev. He has hight, footwork and good job. Canelo will be very slow once he move up to light heavy...

                      Height might be an issue.
                      2'' reach, not so much.

                      Intriguing match up.

                      Chasing greatness comes with risks.
