I don’t give a fûçk if a master boxing trainer said this was a cherry pick!

Canelo is moving up 2 weight classes, in a division he’s never been in and is about to face a man he’s never seen in his career!

No way is Canelo physically stronger than Kovalev that he will be able to bully his way in just cuz Yarde was doing it who’s a career light heavyweight with a build of a cruiser weight!

Stop the bullshît, y’all acting like Canelo can just go around and Knockout light heavyweights when he couldn’t KO a drained Daniel Jacobs and a zombie Chavez jr!

I’m picking Kovalev by knockout but props to Canelo for chasing greatness but this is where it stops for him!
Aiming for the weakest champion in the division equals chasing greatness?

Don't get me wrong. This is a great fight to test the waters at LHW, but we all know he doesn't plan to unify 175. Too small to beat any top dog.

The sad part is that Weeks was offered by the commission to watch the instant replay immediately after the stopagge (new rules allow bad calls to be overturned on the spot) and he declined.

Up until the low blows, the fight was extremely close.
It was all downhill after the headshot for Kov....got seriously hurt by headshot from Yarde ...Canelo by easy Ko...head or body!

agree totally...Canelo going after the old man who has been stopped twice in last 4 and was in serious trouble against a green inexperienced youngster in his last fight.

          • Nothing but gtard stans like jarjarqueef I mean jabjabboon pollute this site into Oblivion.

Its astounding that after several years of the ginger haters & malice wishers claiming Canelos a hypejob bum or that he supposedly lost every fight hes ever fought, they are still here crying about the ginger that keeps shutting their mouth time & time again.

They no longer have any boogiemans left so they have resorted to discrediting any potential opponents he fights,or making excuses about weight as if Canelo isn't going to be at a huge disadvantage at whatever weight hes fighting. You stans have reached a new depth of haterade snorting pathetic losers. Only you ass clowns could try to discredit such great fights as what will now be 4 of nelos last 5 fights where he faced the absolute best possible opponent available.(& Its not a cw )

                • Canelo is taking on a big, dangerous fighter in Kovalev. That's impressive. No way can someone take credit away from Canelo for taking on a guy like Kovalev in a much bigger division.

                  • Fight is not even announced yet, Yall mofos already discrediting Canelo. Kovalev is for sure on decline, but still last 2 fights he beat Eldier Alvarez and Yarde pretty convincingly. Canela is not the biggest MW, and LWH fighters are fuxking huge. Nelo will look like dwarf next to Kovalev. It is notthat Easy fight, but If Yarde was able to catch Kova, Canelosito will be 2. Question is, does he have the powa to put him on shaky legs?

So, going up in weight is what you qualify as greatness?
That’s like saying Hopkins should have fought at HW or
Loma should move to 160 or
I don’t know, every other boxer, maybe?
