Comments Thread For: Hearn: Fury is Having Easy Fights That Nobody is Interested In

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom is still holding his nose when discussing Tyson Fury's upcoming fight with Otto Wallin, which takes place on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Did Eddie Hearn forget that he picked a 270-pound fat guy outside the top 10 as a last minute replacement victim for Joshua?

The only difference is Joshua lost and Fury isn’t losing.

That's only because it's poorly promoted and Wallin is unknown but he has a big chance upsetting Fury because he's a highly skilled sizeable southpaw . I'd go as far to say he's the best technical one at heavyweight right now until Usyk shows up. This will be a really good fight and Fury looks to be top form so Wallin has a far bigger test then Wilder did last year.

Hearn is right here but they thought Ruiz was an easy touch and now say if he beats Ruiz in the rematch then he'll fight a easy opponent next so Hearn really ought to stop making a twat of himself he is sounding more and more like his silly old man by the day. Can't wait to see their little face again at ringside when Joshua (bless him) gets mauled again. It was a joy to see just before Joshua spat out the gum shield from one knee in a act of surrender Barry turn to Edward and say something to the effect of 'we should have bet on red'.....then to come out and say that Joshua would beat Ruiz 99 times out of 100 just shows what a real pair of clowns these two are.I have nothing against Joshua ,I think he's a decent guy who unfortunately for us and the sport has gone with their 10 year business plan and avoided fights we may never get to see. These two think as Barry said 'we run the show' when in fact they are mealy hanging on by the skin of their teeth.

Frank Warren with Tyson Fury who can fight are in a much stronger position. The Ruiz v Joshua fight is only important for the reason that if Joshua is hammered for a second time he is clearly out of the real fun and games and back to the 02 with only a slim chance of PPV on a decent card.

The Hearns will pay dearly for their ****** remarks and arrogance and will soon find they should have been kinder on the way up as nobody gives a *** about their rapid decent.

Key words being "last minute replacement".

Not a Hearn fan at all, but he is right. I don't like how some people are trying to rewrite history and seriously comparing Ruiz to Wallin or Schwarz, yeah none of them were world champions but the level of competition they had faced is way different.

This ain't about slagging off Fury or praising Hearn but speaking truth as a boxing fan - Tyson's opponents are dog shyt and I mean that in the nicest way possible - the proof is in the pudding. I literally only found out yesterday that Fury is fighting this weekend, and I still give zero fuccs.

Comparing Wallin and Ruiz. Sorry, but that's got zero credibility.

Ruiz had come within a bee's nut of winning a World Title. And he was a late replacement. We had seen his ability on a decent stage.

Even Fury's team don't have the nerve to claim Wallin is a realistic challenge. He's got zero pedigree.

Wallin beating Fury would be a much bigger shock than Ruiz beating Joshua.

Fury just might find himself in a situation a lot of guys do where he ***s around with scrubs too long and ends up catching an ass beating when he goes back to fighting real boxers.

... In fact, Hearn picked Big-Baby, remember... while the 270 lb guy barely lost in Parker's backyard... (now: tell me the same about Fury's opponents)...

Happened to Berto. Dude came out hot and looked like he could make some noise but kept fighting lower grade fighters. Then he thought he was getting an easy cherry pick in Ortiz but turned out that cherry came in determined. Berto never developed properly because he wasn't stepping up his level of comp.

Hearn is right in his criticism of Fury. Nobody cares about this fight. I didn't even know it was this weekend until now, and I still don't care
