how come U all thin U know boxing so well..but always chose the wrong person to win?

i boxed for 11 years (8-19) i broke my wrist before i could turn pro on a motorcycle..and the wrist was never the same..if i see 2 guys fight a few times and they fight each other im ALWAYS right..i can break down fighters unline 8.5 9/10 of u guys..yet im constitely being call dumb by idiots who dont know anything about the sweet science..theirs also alot of so called 'greats" that would get beaten by fighters that arent considred great..

and let me throw these things around to put a rest to it..lets say it was possible that they could have a heavyweight tournament of the "so called" top 64 heavyweights of all time like they do in college basketball..its only 6 fights for the guy who wins..loser is elimnated..winner moves on..ali dempsey marciano louis tyson sence their the most POPULAR (not the best) are in the tournament by default..dempsey marciano louis more then likely wouldnt get out of the 1st round..defiently not the 2nd round..somebody like prime DAVID TUA would feast on rocky marciano..somebody like earnie shavers would fest on dempsey..prime rid**** bowe would punch holes thru joe louis..tyson was overrated by he might at least make it too the sweet 16..dependong on who he fights..i like ali but the point is boxing wise this guy was FAR from the greatest heavyweight ever and he got alot of gift decisions in his career..if it was possible to have this tournament..LENNOX LEWIS would be the DUKE BLUE DEVILS of the tournament..with his size power and ring smarts nobody could beat him..somebody may be able to get lucky like rahman or mccall did and place a knockout shot on him..but it damn sure wouldnt be somebody like dempsey louis or ali..maybe a shavers tua v.klitchko could pull the upset

It is useless to compare guys from different eras because the sport was completely different. Sure Rocky Marciano would get beaten by plenty of HW title holders today, but that shouldn't detract from what he did. He fought what was available at the time and won. If he fought today for all you know he might have ended up a cruiserweight or LHW or super MW. We just don't know.

Dino, you need to get off of your high horse for a bit and realize that alot of people here are learning about the game. There are also alot of people with great boxing knowledge on this site. So get off of this I know everything bit and take the forum for what it is, good clean fun.

In your list of greats I find it funny that you do not mention Larry Holmes. I think that he would have beaten your Blue Devil, black and blue.

You fought in the amatuers and that is all cool. But you dont know the game until youve walked with the pros for years. Youve seen somethings that help you with your predictions and thats all cool too. But dont come off on these people like your the king.
