Loma shakes head at Pacquiao fight talk

The thing is Loma was on record saying he doesn't want to beat an old dog there's nothing to prove there, but now that old dog just beat an undefeated prime fighter. Now there's something he can prove there, if he beats Pacquiao he is better than Thurman. But as you can see he is still ducking. That's the bottom line. Pac can go 138. That's fair game. That's meeting halfway. Just as Delahoya did with Pacquiao. Why won't he? with all the money to be made. Coz he know he can't win.

Loma, a natural 130/small 135 is ducking a 147 champ? Is Pac ducking Canelo too?Originally posted by Spoon23 View PostThe thing is Loma was on record saying he doesn't want to beat an old dog there's nothing to prove there, but now that old dog just beat an undefeated prime fighter. Look if Pac came out and said he can make 135 and wants to fight Loma, you might have a point, I haven't heard that. But to claim someone not calling out a champ 2 divisions up is ducking, come on.

You want to be great you go up 2 divisions south and take from the cash cow KING. That's what Pac did during his prime. He fought DLH. It's Loma's prime now.Originally posted by andocom View PostLoma, a natural 130/small 135 is ducking a 147 champ? Is Pac ducking Canelo too?

I heard from Pac's camp they're willing to fight at 138 that's meeting half way. That's 3 lbs up for loma, while 10 lbs down for Pacquiao. And yet Loma has no balls to be great. You want to be great. You have to take challenges that presents to you.
Pac had an opppurtunity to fight Delahoya, so From 135lb, Pac went up to 147 lb division. That's 2 weight classes. That's 12 lbs. Loma only need 3 lbs. to meet Pac @ 138, but he chose not to. See the *****ness exposed there. It's just is bruh.Last edited by Spoon23; 09-10-2019, 09:34 PM.

Not entirely true. You can just take one fight and go back to your plans of being undisputed especially if there is a shyit load of money to be made. It's Pro boxing. It's prize fighting. No better prize than fighting Pac @ 138. But as you can see.. he rather duck it.Originally posted by deanrw View PostLoma is not interested in Pac for the same reason he was not interested in Rigo. He wants to fight guys his size and become undisputed champion.
You are in pro Boxing to make good money to feed your family. That's what prize fighting is about. It's about big fights that makes a fighter earn real Money. Sorry your excuse doesn't fly.Last edited by Spoon23; 09-10-2019, 09:47 PM.

Lol, did you, did you really? Or did you just wish you knew someone from Pac's camp and make that up?Originally posted by Spoon23 View PostYou want to be great you go up 2 divisions south and take from the cash cow KING. That's what Pac did during his prime. He fought DLH. It's Loma's prime now.

You're here telling a guy who is the fastest ever 3 division champion he has no balls and he should go up another 2 divisions.
I think you need to show some respect to people who have accomplished more than you could ever dream to.
Be sure to say hello from me to Pac's camp next time your chatting though.

Well Pac did. Whether you believe me or not. Loma should at least ask to meet Pac halfway if he wants the big fight to happen. The fact he doesn't want it. Tells you who's spooked. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that. Everyone wants a piece of Pac. That's were the big money is. That's what's prize fighting is about.Originally posted by andocom View PostLol, did you, did you really? Or did you just wish you knew someone from Pac's camp and make that up?

The one who calls out is the challenger. Pac ain't the challenger. But believe me Pac's camp has said they can go 138. Now can Loma dance and ask for a catch weight? Naah he couldn't even finish Campbell convincingly. That was a hard fought fight for him. What more a live old dog like Pacquiao. Enough said.

He isn't doing his thing at his weight class. His weight class is 126 or 130.Originally posted by Bundt View PostAll credit to him, he's doing his thing in his weight class but he, and the rest of the world, knows that he's a special fighter that can fight outside of his weight class.
He is a special fighter, and he is already fighting outside of his weight class.
What do you mean 'need'?Originally posted by Bundt View PostHe doesn't need to unify. He needs legacy fights. His first loss burnt him so much that he or his team doubts what he could do above 135. He could fight and win at 147 if he wanted to against B level guys like Danny Garcia (who lost to a scrappy Herrera.
He has chosen to build his legacy by unifying. I don't see how he needs to do anything else. Unify 135, unify 130. That's a solid plan. If he doesn't fight anyone at those weights, it is because they don't have a belt. Are they really 'legacy' type opponents if they can't even get a belt?
His first loss didn't burn him at all. Since he lost to Salido he has:- Won a title fight in his next fight.
- Won 13 title fights in a row.
- Moved up two weight divisions.
- Become P4P #1.
That's not burnt.
Chasing fighters all across different weight classes isn't necessary to be an ATG. It isn't even related to being an ATG.

Loma has never shown the slightest interest in chasing money fights.Originally posted by Spoon23 View PostEveryone wants a piece of Pac. That's were the big money is. That's what's prize fighting is about.
Plenty of fighters would love to fight Pac (or Mayweather, or Canelo) because it would result in the biggest payday of their career.
I don't blame fighters for wanting to make money. They deserve it.
But if you think that is the only thing which motivates every single boxer - then that says more about yourself than it does about reality.
