Like he only wants more money because it hurts his feelings that somebody else's name is in bigger letters than his on the posters. Because that's all it boils down to, really.
Ultimately, he's saying the money matters most, and he's right, of course. He feels the energy is with the HW division right now and he's not wrong. He feels that he's not getting the share of the revenue for a card he's doing more than his current share to sell. I think he's probably right. He's probably the biggest star on the card and boxing is entertainment first.

WBSS is popular? Really? Last time I checked it's done one show in the UK that was even remotely successful, and the rest of the shows stunk at the ratings.
Where did you check? Because wherever it was, they gave you false information.

Chisora and Taylor are both names in British sport. So what are you saying .. that Del Boy should be top of the bill ... or that he should get more money for not being top of the bill, which is what he was demanding?

Del Boy is not a star, and he's been in more than his share of very boring fights. I'm expecting Prograis vs Taylor to be a lot more entertaining and exciting than Chisora vs Parker.

And he wasn't saying the money matters most. He was angry because he found out he wasn't topping the bill. Or more likely just pretending to be angry to try and screw some extra money out of Hearn.

At the end of the day, if he didn't like the purse he was offered he shouldn't have accepted the fight. Who the fuck signs a contract to fight and then starts demanding more money and running down other fights on the show at a press conference?

I'm saying that if Chisora vs Parker was competing with Taylor vs Prograis on a PPV on the same night, there's absolutely zero doubt which one would smash the other at the box office.

I don't personally care who headlines the card, but I can understand Chisora's point because he's definitely right that his fight is a bigger draw than the main event.

            This point literally matters zero.

People laugh at Chisora, but he is only 1 good win away of becoming top 10 contender. And Parker would be that one good win.

They would both bomb, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Prograis/Taylor sold more than Chisora/Parker. I have family in Scotland and spend time there regularly. Taylor's WBSS fights have been getting plenty of attention from the kind of casual sports fans who don't usually bother much about boxing. The kind of fans who don't know how easy it is to stream PPV boxing for free.

Chisora is a name, but he's not a star name. He's lost too many times and been in too many boring fights. Very few casual fans would pay to watch him vs Parker, and hardcore fans would stream it without worrying too much about possible poor picture quality and lagging.
