Comments Thread For: The Boxing World Should Embrace KSI vs. Logan Paul II
Collapse

...written like someone who didn't watch the first fight, because I'm sorry, KSI can NOT box and no, I would argue your average club fighter would piece him up.Originally posted by BoxingSceneFor one, KSI and Paul will absolutely not be the worst boxers to ever enter a professional boxing ring. Even if they haven’t improved one lick from their amateur bout, they are already better than many of the fighters appearing in gym shows in Latvia and Hungary, or high school gyms in West ******ia.Comment

Honestly I have more respect for this fight than Mayweather fighting some kickboxer for 3 rounds. At the end of the day if it brings in more fans I’m all for it. I won’t watch it, but obviously people will and hopefully some stick around to watch some real fights.Comment

Good one 👍👍👍Logan Paul is gonna knock out this YouTube guy and call out mayweather after the fight. It’s gonna be a big spectacle and all the people that bought the mcgregor fight will buy this Paul-May weather boxing show also. Everyone respect Logan Paul as a more experienced boxer that will be facing mayweather with an undefeated record of 1-0. That’s a much better record than 0-0 mcgregor who beat Floyd for three straight rounds to open that fight!Comment

"Can you explain how you can’t comprehend a f.ucking sentence? "...Can you explain how you can’t comprehend a f.ucking sentence?
I didn’t say it was bad / I just said it isn’t Good for the sport and to for a boxing writer to pretend like it should be embraced is a joke . 2 unskilled Popular ( I Guess ) Youtubers decide to have a boxing match doesn’t mean nor should it mean sh.it to the sport. This is a Circus exhibition, it means nothing to the sport That’s all . And some clown getting paid by DAZn trying to convince people that this should looked at as a serious endeavour should smack himself in the face for allowing himself to be a corporate W.hore
Did Bumfights help raise the sports profile to a younger Generation? When Vanilla Ice fought Todd Bridges or Barstools Rough N Rowdy
good or bad for the sport? This falls under that category
If your a fan of the actual sport you’d treat it like a actual sport that means not embracing gimmicks , No Real Future fans of the sport are going to say the fight that got them interested was a fight between 2 Youtubers
Just because 2 people put on gloves and throw punches in a ring doesn’t mean it should be embraced , This Fight is a joke and pretending like it should be viewed as a serious event or embraced by boxing fans who don’t follow these clowns is BS
I didn't say thet you did say it was bad but you definitely implied it hence your little temper tantrum rant.
You'd be an idiot or have some ***** boy agenda to think this is not good for the sport whatsoever. A new, young and large audience will be exposed to real professional boxing on the undercard and will become fans of this sport. Even if it's only two people it's an addition to paying numbers and no doubt some will even go as far as trying the sport themselves so yeah it will benefit boxing.
Neither guy is going down in the boxing hall of fame, no one is trying to claim that and I won't be watching this one but more attention on our dying sport the better especially from new audiences.Comment

Temper Tantrum , Good one man"Can you explain how you can’t comprehend a f.ucking sentence? "...

This isn’t t good or bad for the sport because it doesn’t represent the sport and it means nothing , Should Celebrity Basketball games be looked at as Serious now , It’s a Gimmick that’s all not to be taken Serious , Is Barstool sports Rough N Rowdy good for the sport/ Does that convert fans
The People watching this sideshow and turning into Real Boxing fans after watching Haney / BJS is probably slim to none , These People are there to watch People that they view as Celebrities fight. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think so
My main issue is when A Writer whose Paid by DAZn is shilling and saying this pile of sh.it should be embraced by Boxing fans and giving all these reasons why this circus isn’t actually a circus
I get why DAZn did this, they want subscribers & $ , I think it’s embarrassing that Hearn is putting his Logo on the sh.it . But let’s not pretend this is anything other then what it is
Don’t use the sports dying as a excuse. Is it as popular as it was. No but neither is Horse Racing or Track & Field , The available Options for Sports fans is endless
Yeah Boxing is a niche sport but it’s far from Dead , a sport that 4-5 years had a fight generate almost a Billion dollars , almost annually has a fight that Generate 100 million + dollars & and has countless events that pull in 8 figures shows there’s a Market for it.
You know what’s good for the sport having Real fights and a real representation of the sport being shown on Larger easier accessible Platforms like ESPN / Fox , Not pretending like this sh.it should be looked as a good thing for the sport because it has nothing to do with the sport / If these 2 Guys decided to Do a 100m race or race cars around a track instead it wouldn’t make it a legitimate track and field or F1/NASCAR event and a good thing for their respective Sports, it’s be looked at 2 Cemebrities competing against each other , How is this any different ?Last edited by R_Walken; 09-10-2019, 06:43 AM.Comment
