If I'm Sergey Kovalev, have had a great career, made good money, I'm now 36 years old at the tail end of my boxing career, and a superstar middleweight wants to come up two weight classes to fight me in a very winnable fight offering life changing/generational money, I would certainly take the fight.

Yes, cash out indeed. Cash out in a fight I can definitely win. If I don't win, I've done great for myself so I'll take my money and leave. I don't see how that makes me a "little b1tch."

I disagree that its a winnable fight for kov, he is looking shot and canelo is poaching his scalp. Kov hasnt fought this regularly in years that will impact his recovery and training ability.

Whereas canelo has been on a extended break since jacobs. Its all about timing and kov is ripe for picking.

And my comment was made due to you assuming I'm a degenerate if you don't like it don't start in the first place. You're first comment was more then enough to respond to. The last part was unnecessary just like my last comment on the previous post was too.

I think Kovalev can win despite the disadvantages in timing. He's a good boxer from the outside and has a great jab. If he fights correctly it's very winnable IMO. I heard he's a 8/1 underdog I'll certainly put some money on him.

Krusher just did an IG live (9 AM in Moscow) where he was working out in the gym... essentially confirmed that he is back to training for next fight, feels has enough rest.

Back in the states towards end of the week.

Kov has never over trained a single fight in his life yet now people expect him to?

Him moving to US probably had to do with him getting away from family and friends as Kovy IS actually known for enjoying himself between fights.

Kovalev will win this fight and hurt Canelo in the process

He said he was over trained for the first ward fight. Anyway, the guy just had a full camp and a hard fight...he should let his body recover before getting right back into the gym. He’s not in his 20s anymore, he’s asking for an injury.

I'm sure Kovalev would like to win but at this stage of his career, getting a career payday trumps winning. Probably Kovalev would have been willing to get on a plane right after defeating Yarde and fight Canelo that night in Vegas for the right money.
