    Ruiz loses int he rematch

Its gonna be like Lewis rahman 2.

Ruiz went and got a gold Rolex, a Rolls Royce, house and 15 min of fame. He wont be taking Joshua as seriously as Joshua is gonna take him right now.

I like his personality but I still don’t rate Ruiz. AJ has always been vulnerable and sooner or later he was inevitably going to be exposed.
AJ definitely has more tools than Ruiz though.

Let’s not be revisionist! Ruiz was brought in as a gimme opponent who AJ should have dealt with easily, and I expect him to deal with him in the rematch. If AJ loses again, he’ll have to ask himself some serious questions.

Time will tell, I hope your right but I can't deny that the 1st fight was a pretty comprehensive victory for Ruiz. But I don't think we got a full on Joshua that night.

Ruiz was no “gimme opponent,” as the results showed. Frankly, I didn’t think he was going in. Not after I watched his previous fight versus Dimitrenko. Yeah, I thought Joshua would win, and I think he’ll take the rematch, but Andy is definitely no pushover. It was risky to tap him as a fill-in. Then again, the decision might’ve led to an extremely lucrative and interesting trilogy.

Hot take. AJ is the clear betting favorite anyway. However, IMO this is a 50/50 fight, not sure who to trust going into the rematch.

More tools? Joshua is taller and stronger but after that Ruiz has a better skill set, overall his ring IQ is on a much higher level, his chin also is much better and his stamina, while it isn’t very good, isn’t likely to catastrophically fail Andy because he’s at home in the ring and knows his limitations.

Andy looks like a man totally comfortable when he’s fighting, Joshua looks like what he is, a good athlete trying real hard to be a boxer.

Certain people may have viewed Ruiz as a live dog. (I wasn’t one of them and got the fight prediction completely wrong) But I also don’t buy into this narrative that Ruiz was a top 10 HW and deserving challenger. I mean prior to AJ what credible wins did he have? A shot version of Dimitrenko or Liakhovich.

AJ’s team definitely viewed Ruiz as a safe option and easy fight for AJ’s US debut, unfortunately for them, Ruiz ripped up the script.

I meant physical tools, which if utilised properly can allow him to dictate the action.

Ruiz definitely has better ring craft though but so do most HW’s compared to AJ. He’s technically very average tbh

a lot of People on here have written off AJ , Which to me is a mistake , Fighters lose it happens , although usually when the Bside pulls off that big of a upset its usually from a KO and not being beaten from Pillar to Post for the last 1/2 of the Fight.

I’ve was always confident that AJ wins the rematch without too much Trouble , but theres been multiple AJ comments the last month I view as questionable and has me wondering where his heads at , now I think it Could go either way.

Ruiz is the better boxer and Joshua doesn’t have a chin.

                    But Ruiz is obese.

Hard to pick a winner between these two very average heavyweights.
