On what he might do differently in the rematch:

“Maybe I could start getting up earlier, it would give me more time for training and more time to rest”.

Getting up earlier inevitably means less rest..

He's always been this way. I've been saying this for over a year since those negotiations with Wilder started and Hearn shut AJ down and wouldn't allow him to talk to the media after Wilder pulled his card with the $50 mil offer. Then once Eddie safely secured the duck by having the WBA call the Povetkin mandatory AJ came out of hiding and told the fans to go train to fight Wilder. This is why Hearn doesn't allow him to talk. But he's forced to talk this time to still the rematch.

At the height of Floyd's popularity you'd see him doing gaggles with reporters. You'd see him doing one on ones with a reporter or a YouTube channel. He is way more popular than AJ. You never see AJ doing those things. Even after the press conference you saw Ruiz doing one on ones and gaggles. When AJ was doing his gaggle he was seated on the couch next to two of his handlers. AJ is the true definition of a puppet.

While I don't find it particularly "contradictory," mainly because fighters contradict themselves almost every interview anyways, I would say it should be very off putting for any Joshua fan the fact that he isn't aware of why he lost the fight.
