The reality is that Mexicans root for their own and are extremely bias when it comes to boxers of their ethnicity. Mexicans are tribalistic, nationalistic and xenophobix. Putting a Black American boxer in a majority mexican city while he's fighting a mexican is a disaster for him. The crowd will be against him all fight long.
