Usyk is going to be bigger than Spong

Not only did Oleksander Usyk pick someone who has no real amateur experience and no chance to box with him in his heavyweight debut, he picked a heavyweight who’s smaller than him.

Usyk is taller than Spong and has a four inch reach advantage. Spong weighs around 235 and I think we all expect Usyk to be there too.

Could he have picked a softer touch? And don’t you think he’ll have to have another fight in between Spong and a championship shot to really get used to the division?

Never seen sprong, but I think I prefer someone who's undefeated n can punch a bit rather than an old journeyman like takam.

I might be going to this card, so I'm hoping there's some competitive fights.

Usyk will never weigh over 225 and be effective in his style he needs to be in. Should be a lopsided fight , I don't think it's a good opponent only because Joshua is 6'6 and if he wins that's who Usyk is fighting .

I know we want big fights, but does anyone really expect a guy moving up to HW to pick a big man straight away.

It's about the right fight. Usyk may be around 235 but he's got to get used to fighting at that weight.

Yeah no one is calling it a good fight buddy...

But if anyone is allowed a handpicked opponent, it is Usyk

As he has beaten everyone in their backyard and entered a tournament and became undisputed. He always took big risks. Don't know why Takam didn't want to fight anymore

Usyk is coming off an injury and moving up in weight. People cry about everything.
