Good move. Why would AJ like to quit 3 times in a row?

AJ wins, prepare for the belts to be held hostage again through bullshit negotiations and low level opponents.

Neither side wants a third fight.
AJ wins then Haymon makes more money off of Ruiz with in house PBC fights.
Ruiz wins he’ll fight Wilder for unification next spring or fall.

Love how these AJ fanboys are so sure their guy wins the rematch after getting destroyed and quitting. Already talking about mandatory challengers when he just got his belts ripped away from him.

It wouldn't matter who won , either guy would have to fulfill a mando otherwise its pointless holding out for a undisputed fight so a third fight wouldn't be productive at this point. In Joshuas case he is a MULTI defending champion of 6/7 defenses so yea its time to move on and get the fights he was pursuing before Ruiz contemplated retiring. At least you understand they were HIS belts that HE collected I guess you gain one IQ point here .

Yep I forgot about that one. Wasn't sure if their trilogy was 3 in a row.
