Is Floyd funny? Like, "Ha ha" funny?

I was never sure how I felt about this. Floyd had some good 1-liners and insults. Pretty much all his jokes are insults. I felt like he was pretty clever back in the day. He's also given us a lot of pure cringe that was made to look even worse by the fake laughs from his entourage. This is mostly in his later years.

How do you rate Floyd in terms of his jokes?
(And, yea, I know he's a boxer, not a comedian. Get the stick out of your ass.)

I honestly can't remember him being very funny. Got any specific examples my friend?

I don't find most boxers funny except for maybe Tyson Fury or Usyk. James Toney could be funny sometimes, too. Clubber Lang was hilarious but of course, not real unfortunately.

Floyd's trollsmanship was some of the best ever. He was a master at irritating people inside and outside of the ring. Got into every opponent's head minus the Latinos.

McGregor for all his trash talking skills couldn't get the better of Floyd.

No fighter outtrolled Floyd. It was mostly the media that managed to piss the man off.

Sometimes, funny.

He had moments where his delivery was way off. Throw Ortiz naked into a dungeon. Or Ortiz wants to get massaged by a big black man.

Only 2nd to Mayorga when it came to humiliating Oscar. Got his revenge on Shane by bullying the hell out of him for jumping into the ring after Floyd's victory.

Floyd is an anomaly. Made himself into the biggest draw the sport has ever experienced even with these two factors: Top 3 greatest defense wizards in boxing history.

Not very articulate nor witty.

He was funny as hell when he was younger. As he got older, he became more cringe

And then he reached a point where he totally stopped trolling.

I was expecting manny to get a verbal azz spanking in addition to the inevitable physical azz whooping. The former didn't happen.

0 out of 10 is Cotto. 2 out of 10 being manny.

I'd put Floyd at 7 or 8 out of 10. The most important speaking lesson he imparted into future generations is the willingness to talk. Floyd was down to do what most fighters aren't and got paid handsomely for it.
