So does the move to 135 put us closer to the fight or no? If yes, what's the need to beech about it. The WBA regular champ has fought the super champ in a couple prominent fights lately GGG Jacob's and Pac Thurman.

Tank could have had the fight already and his side didn't want it. I'm not saying they were right or wrong in saying they weren't ready but now we got people running around here acting like Tank is chasing this man down.. he got too fat for 130 is all that happened. When he wants the fight, I bet he can get it without much issue. It's the only real PPV big money fight for either man.

Glad to see Tank make the move to 135 after his stellar run at Junior Lightweight. They'll be talking about that title run for ages--got elevated to champion despite relinquishing his title on the scale in his previous fight against Fonceca. Laid waste to all challengers & left no doubt he was the cream of the crop at 130. Won't entertain "fighting on an app", because it's far more valuable drawing the usual 450-600k viewers on Showtime, who's surging and leaving the competition behind these days! On a more serious note, this might be a semi-fun fight until Gamboa inevitably gets folded in about 3-5 rounds. This all seems exciting in theory, but does anyone expect Ellerbe to press the WBA to enforce his position as mandatory? I see a made up WBA regular belt in the near future w/ a few easy touches & the usual suspects howling about how Loma stay ducking that Tank smoke--does that about sum it up?

Davis won't be planning on walking over Gamboa. Not because he can't do it. The reason is to enhance his already crazy boxing skills and defense.

Floyd has been helping out a lot with his defense training for a while and he spars big guys like Spence regularly. They need to test it. They are satisfied with the KOs part.

This fight will go some rounds. Maybe 8.
