He hasn't convincingly beaten a top level fighter in like 6 or so years. Not only that, but we saw against Sosa that his chin and stamina are both gone. Fuck's sake, the guy was already chinny in his prime. Gamboa's not beating any decent lightweights, and Tank will more than likely give him a horrific beating.

At least it's a huge step up in competition for him.

Based on what? Campbell looked shit to me in that last fight. Nothing special. There were no high skills stuff that went between them. It was an average fight.
