Comments Thread For: Wilder Believes Fury Would Step Aside To Allow Unification

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder believes Tyson Fury would step aside and allow him to take part in a full division unification. Wilder is slated to face Luis Ortiz in a rematch, likely on a date in November. Should Wilder win, he would then go on to collided with Fury in a rematch on a date in February of next year.

Lol facts. He did revive his career is he’s fighting bum after bum. Only two good names on his resume and one was 40years old. He has no belts he doesn’t sell out any crowds and he’s a boring fighter. I rather see the unification

If Joshua beats Ruiz, he should fight Tyson Fury next . This is a great super fight in Uk.

The Gypsy coward does not wanna fight Wilder again just using Wilder's name to promote his bum fights on ESPN

"Step aside"? Is that even necessary? Fury has no belts & I don't think he's a mandatory. I also don't think the world is screaming for this rematch - feels more like "whatever".

Assuming Wilder thinks Ruiz will beat AJ again. He sounds very keen on unification which wasn’t always the case with when AJ was champ. Likely more to do with not wanting to try and do business with Hearn than not wanting to fight AJ. The Ruiz deal would be fairly easy to do.

I’d rather see Ruiz / AJ v Wilder than the fury rematch.
