The recognition by the organisations of each other's champions only pertains to mandatories and unifications. A franchise champion won't have any mandos and a franchise title can't be unified with any other titles, because it can't be won in the ring.

There is literally nothing for the WBA, WBO and IBF to recognise in a franchise champion.

Canelo won't have any WBC mandos now, and Charlo holds the same title that Canelo used to hold, so I expect him to take Canelo's place in the mando rotation and be recognised as WBC champion by the other orgs.

Unless the WBC plan on using Canelo's franchise status to exempt Charlo from mandatory obligations too, which would cause a shit storm of protest and make the whole WBC MW rankings meaningless.

Not everybody likes Mexican food.
