I think that was a past-prime version of Morales, surely we'd be matching up Gary Russell vs. Morales pre-130. The Morales who was 41-1, with his sole loss to Barrera. I'd roll with that Morales against Russell by late-round stoppage. It's hard to tell if current Russell is even a prime version of himself, dude fights so little and has so many hand problems.

Just judging by their resumes I am going to have to go with Erik Morales. There are hardly any notable names on Gary Russell, Jr's resume. In addition, is inactivity is hurting his legacy.
