I seem to remember Motor City being a good poster awhile back...but he does have a point. When Loma said he didn't want to fight an old shot legend, I scoffed at that statement because even though I thought Pacquiao was past his best even back then, I felt very confident that Pac would still beat Mikey Garcia and Loma....I'm still fairly confident about that....if the fight was at 140 or above. I like Loma a lot. He's a great fighter but he is tiny....I'm sure many of you have seen Mikey Garcia and Loma in pic and video standing together. Mikey's shoulder girth and head are WAY bigger than Loma's. They look 2 divisions apart in size and it's not simply due to meat on the bones...There's an obvious difference in bone thickness/ girth. Mikey is much bigger.

....And who the hell wouldn't want the scalp of a legend if they truly believed they would win that fight??

Regardless of this, I still think Loma is a great fighter!

Won't happen and why? Arum is keeping his cash cows far away from a fighter that can ruin them.
Pac was reportedly willing to move down to 140 to make it happen, so the fight was right there for him.

        Yeah I do

Everyone thought Pacquiao was washed up after losing to Horn. If Loma would have fought him back then you would make threads about Loma going after washed up fighters. Let's be honest here

But after beating Thurman it is a credible fight again.

147 or never mind, Why should Pac move down, if Loma wants that fame then go up to 147 where THE BIG DOGS ARE AT.

Loma wanted no part of that fight at any point of Manny's career. Even now.

Lomo would get zero credit for beating pac. The haters would just say he cherry picked an old pac.

If Loma fought Manny and won, which he very well could, he would receive ZERO credit. Everyone would claim he cherrypicked an oldman. Loma is in his prime right now so a win over an old Manny isn't anything special. Just because Manny beat Thurman doesn't mean much. When was the last time Manny fought someone in his prime?

I already said from the start that an old, past his prime and part time boxer pac will be too much for loma at 140 above that's why i want only this fight to happen at 135lbs so that the fight will be a true 50-50 and loma has a chance to become the superstar if he beat pac..

I'm not sure. I just think after Pac lost to horn he would get credit anyway. That's different now. I heard Bob Arum say they would like that fight at 138lbs for Loma
